Since the Burnley game, we've been FIFTEENTH in the league. 8 points behind 4th. Behind Leicester, Everton, Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Southampton, Watford, Burnley and West Ham. Two points clear of relegation. Imagine that's where we are at the start of November next season, and what your reaction to Poch would be. Because that's precisely where we are now. The fact it's at the end of a season rather than the beginning does not make it any better. We're not in poor form you could forgive, we're in the middle of a catastrophe.

So Poch needs to take the blame?
With Pochs 20+ quotes directly saying where the problem lies, not to mention the 10 or so managers before him blamed for shit windows I’ll take any ITKPR with a pinch of salt, there is only one guy to blame for our transfer shitshow, poch wanted us to change, get players in early, the right players, not cheap square pegs, he got fuck all, in Levys defence he was busy with Electricians but he fucked up bigtime, if people can’t see that they’re in denial.

Frankly, can't see anything other than a defeat against Everton. So it boils down to praying for 2 out of 3 from:

Chelsea get no more than 2 points from Watford (H) and Leicester (A)
Arse fails to get all 6 points from Brighton (H) and Burnley (A)
Utd fails to get all 6 points from Huddersfield (A) and Cardiff (H)

I reckon Arse are pretty likely to fall short but Chelsea and Utd very unlikely to.

Our main threat will come from the least likely MU.... If we don't beat Everton.
Arsenal will drop points imo.
Wolves not winning as we speak isn't helping as Everton will have something to play for

I was thinking how this would look if this form carried into next season. It would be catastrophic.

The five stages, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance are a part of the framework that makes up our learning to live with the one we lost.

Everyone hurry. I have just arrived at the acceptance stage now.

Firmly stuck in anger for now. I might reach bargaining if we win on weds and I'll have a chat with the footballing gods about top 4 or winning CL.

I'm going to reserve my complete meltdown until after the next 2 games but whatever happens everyone at the club needs to take a look at themselves after this shambolic few months. Levy, Poch and the players are all to blame and if we don't get top 4 or progress any further in the CL it's because we don't deserve to.

I feel the same way about just wanting this season over. It’s been a really hard work season with very little enjoyment to be honest. Losing 13 games, being crap at the start of the champions league, “nearly challenging” for the title and then to go on a horrendous run of 7 losses in 11 games, the constant wait wait wait for the new stadium and the total amount of injuries we have had throughout! Just feels like it’s been a slog!

If it ends with Europa League then I would really hope we play the youth team in those games and just get out of the competition as quickly as possible! Look how it’s affected both Arsenal and Chelsea this year, it’s killer of a competition!

I agree in terms of the detrimental effect, but either Arsenal/Chelsea are walking away with a European Trophy this season. That’s more than we are.

Of course not winning today was always going to be annoying, but it's the way we did it that is the most infuriating. Not only did we manage to piss away a game we were totally dominating with a couple of moments of madness, but then to throw it away in injury time too. So us

Bad luck?? We had very late winners against Newcastle, Watford and Fulham just before our current run, when we really didn't deserve them. When we decided to go into the season with only a single competent and fit CM in the form of Dier, Sissoko turned from one of our worst players into one of our best and Winks recovered from major ankle surgery to play for 85% of the season. When we did really start fucking up, our direct rivals have dropped ridiculous points as well. We have been incredibly lucky this season and the last few months in particular. If we don't make the most of it then we've only ourselves to blame.

We need Wolves to win today to remove any hope/fight Everton have for European footer
