Am I the only wally who is constantly checking this thread in the hope that someone provides concrete evidence or reassures me that we’ll make top 4?

The next 3 weeks are going to be murder. I hope Levy, Poch and the players understand that they are really putting me/us through the wringer!

I really need to get a life!

I've said that for 47 of my 51 years supporting this club, why do put myself through this every season

Genuine question.... How many players would we have realistically needed to buy to not be fatigued at this point in the season after the last 2 years of non stop football.

We obviously needed to buy... but up until 4 games ago, everyone who had bought players bar two teams were doing worse than us and, even though it's now by the slenderest of margins are still doing worse than us.

I think our form will improve for these last games. Blind faith I guess but I am not throwing in the towel just yet and no matter how crap we are playing right now, everyone else in the race for top 4 has the ability to do so too.

Yeah but Tottenham have to play 2 of them still which could result in another 6 pts lost .

It's also true we've been losing to bottom 4. This has to change if we're going to stand any chance of making top 4.

Getting point from MCity & L'Pool will be a bonus if it happens & we're are capable of doing so, but we need to stop throwing away points to the likes of Burnley & S'Hampton.

I’m still remarkable calm about our situation. The simple facts are the city and Liverpool games are near on irrelevant and it comes down to the other 6 games where we could probably still afford a slip up. We are more than capable of winning 5 of those 6 games. Of course it’s football and anything can happen but there’s a reason why we are still the bookies favourites.

Yes your right Liverpool and city's game are irrelevant probably another six points lost but I can see the hammers spoiling the party they will book a bus parade for this and our team right now would likely let it happen.

We have five very winnable home games, which are finally HOME games after almost two years away, plus Bournemouth away.

Maximum points from those six and it won't matter what we do against Pool and City, I'm certain we will get top four with 18 more points.

But we can't afford any slip ups in those games.

There’s no way 2 of the other 3 are getting 80 pts. I don’t think anyone has had to get 80 pts for 4th.

Chelsea have 2 tough games away, Man U have 2 tough home games, Arsenal have 5 away games and have been inconsistent away from home, but apparently we are the only ones that will definitely lose at least 2 more games
