As I have posted before the pundits can't get their heads around the idea of us winning the league but can't really come up with a reason why not so they fall back on the squad strength stuff, if you think about the old, what if they lose Kane and Eriksen line then the answer is, what if we don't? By their logic that would mean we win it surely.
As for Liverpool they are under no pressure whatsoever, they are six points clear and have just pulled away from City so life is good, the pressure comes when they drop points, when the gap is three points not six then they'll know what pressure is, whenever it comes.

6pts sounds a lot but its really not. Look how quickly City dropped 6 pts and how quickly Man U have closed up on Arsenal and Chelsea.
Its not the big games where points will be lost, its the weaker teams where managers take liberties with the starting 11 and it bites you in the bum.
Thats where we imo have a big advantage over the rest, our entire squad fits almost seamlessly into the way we play.
Foyth still worries me though, that was another foul in the box he committed and again somehow got away with it.
I think thats only that 1 motm performance where he hasnt given a penalty away or got away with one. Needs to calm down a bit.

Completely agree. He's so talented and for every dodgy thing he does he does about 2 or 3 really great things, but he really needs to sort out that side of his game. We can't risk giving away a pen every time he starts.

Unfortunately that’s what it takes to blood a young CB, you have to stick through this period with them and back that they will learn

Here's a hard One:
Do we want the Gooners to fluke a win at Liverpool so that if we beat Wolves we'll only be 3 points off the top?
OR
Do we want Liverpool to win so that we might be 10 points ahead of Woolwich?
My vote is for the former.

It's not hard at all. We want the Goons to win, a draw would be nice as well.

Could all but secure top 4 tomorrow can’t see them making up 10 pts on us. But draw be ideal. Meaning if city win we could be 1 pt off come new year.

Also when we have our 3 home game run end of January Liverpool have to go to West Ham. Must say I was surprisingly impressed by West Ham last night. Thought their injuries would tell but they looked very good. If they have few back from injury that’s definitely a potential banana skin.

If we are to close Liverpool down then we need an arsenal win or a draw would do even then it's still a bit of an ask to win the league our form will have to be almost flawless which I can't see happening but what a ride the club is on.

Bit of a stupid question. If you give me a choice, Arsenal win that game 100 times out of 100

I can live with all 3 outcomes...

Arsenal win - obviously essential to our title hopes
draw - possibly gaining 2 points on liverpool AND scum
Liverpool win - not good for title hopes but possibly 10 points ahead of scum

I want to win the league. We're 7 points above Arsenal, so I want them to win. We both win that gap remains the same. Don't think it's a hard question really.

Yep. Arsenal win and we win, we’re 3 back with City/Liverpool still to go. A City win also would be huge for their psyche going into that match. So i think best case scenario on Saturday is us, woolwich and City win.

Im still annoyed we lost that NLD in the fashion we did. If Poch had bought Toby on for Foyth, or actually started him like we should have, i dont think we lose that game and we’d only be 4 back, possibly 3 back at the moment with a decent shot of being level on points, maybe even sole top after the 2 next fixtures.

Proof is in the pudding for me - this relatively young squad and coaching staff up until city’s win yesterday had earned more points than any other team in 2018, and I’m confident they will only get better.
Barring injuries we are definitely in the title race in my opinion.

I still believe ;)
Time to get our cash out now, bring in a Llorente replacement, and pay up for a top class CM, and go for it.
This is the most important transfer window we have ever had I think, really hope we get it right this time.

Not for me, only thing I care about is us getting 3 points.

I wouldn't expect any incommings if I were you, Poch has said that neunorous times and we need to sell before we buy anyway.

The summer window is the one to look out for.
