We’ve lost to City twice in the space of a week. In that time, we’ve qualified for the semi final of the Champions League and strengthened our grip on the top 4.

Even failure will have in it, an echo of glory.

We ought to change the title to "Race for fourth for the other three losers"

Third is done - for us... im super confident

you did this before we played Burnley. if we don't beat Brighton and spam, and my birthday is ruined, I'm hunting you down:cautious:

That’s fucking tasty- we need to take the three points tomorrow and we’re in a great position
I hope Poch has the lads laser-focused on Tuesday and Saturday. Win those two games, and we are very much in pole position, regardless of the other results. I don't doubt that the other three will certainly drop points between now and the final game of the season. Best case scenario for us, would be going into the Everton game having already secured a place in the top 4.

I guess we'll know where the players' heads are at tomorrow evening. I truly hope they're up for the game.

It would be amazing to win these two games, and get a few other results going our way so top four is almost guaranteed before the Ajax ties. Would make massive difference to be able to focus all our attention on those games, particularly as I think set pieces could be our key to beating them.

Would be lovely going into the last day knowing that 3rd is in the bag

I agree that they shouldn't roll over, but I think there's a difference between playing defensively, going long, being a little clever time wasting and then what burnley do which tonight was 6 players faking injuries inside of 10 minutes. I'm all for teams doing the best with what they're given but I don't want to see teams laying on the floor faking injuries.

agreed - i didn't mind it tonight because Chelsea were on the receiving end and it benefitted us. But incessant time wasting from the first minute of the first half is perhaps the thing i hate most about todays game (other than referees' with agendas and those that bottle it). When we beat Burnley at Wembley in stoppage time is was beautiful karma.

I also do not get why a referee will watch a goalie take 45 seconds for every single goal kick and finally book him for time wasting in the 89th minute - what is the f8888g point in that??

That said, Chelsea were on the receiving end, so i salute you Burnley.........principles and good sportsmanship be dammed.

BTW - it was Pulis who made this into an art form with Stoke when they first got promoted - it wasn't just goal kicks either, it was every throw in

Very true, which is why I hope we throw everything we have at Brighton.

This is where the new stadium comes into play. I’m expecting a thunderous atmosphere in our remaining home games, especially against West Ham, the annoying little gnats.

This has been one of the weirdest seasons I can remember. Never really played well, lost loads of games, all the Wembley frustration, injury after injury, flirted with a title race, and now we’re in prime position to secure 3rd place as we prepare for a CL semi-final in the best stadium in the country
Netflix should have done a documentary on us.

Netflix should have done a documentary on us.

I'd be surprised if we haven't already been approached previously for something like this - a couple seasons ago with the whole last season at WHL and the new stadium build, and with Spurs being Spurs, would have made a really good watch.

Netflix should have done a documentary on us.

I would be very surprised if there is no real video/documentary of the whole stadium being done. I cant imagine they didnt think of this, knowing Levy he will damn sell it...

I dont think Poch would like the whole amazon/netflix type video of us... but it would be great I can imagine.

Huge game tomorrow. I'm certain that this weekend's results have shown the players that there's no easy games in this league. Brighton are fighting for their lives.

We win tomorrow and against Wetspam on the weekend when most of our nearest rivals will drop points, we're almost home.

We lost 2 games in a row... over all in the grand scheme... it wasn't too bad.

We dropped points in the weekend, but against a potential champion. whereas the other teams around us all drop points to "weaker" opposition.

I'll take that.
