15 games to go. I think if we win 10 from that we make it with 81 points. I cant see Arsenal and United not dropping less than 9 points from now (max they can both get is 89)

Considering that we've had half of our starting XI injured at times throughout the season, those who aren't injured played a lot of football in the world cup, we didn't spend a quid in the transfer window, we're playing in a borrowed stadium so effectively have zero home games and Sky have been doing their absolute hardest to upset our manager....... the team is doing bloody well. The players and the manager do really deserve some credit for what they've done so far.
Half our first team? I think we've had our entire first team except for maybe Toby Alderwiereld out injured at times throughout the season which makes your point even more pertinent. It's pretty amazing really.

They look shit defensively, they weren't that good against us, gave us chance after chance and there's a lot of teams for them still to play that will get results against them.
Obviously I hope you're right(don't forget De Gea in goal mind) but I feel they are now on a roll and will score more than they let in, in most games. Got a lot of attacking options and Sanchez will probably start to feature soon.

I think we can discount Arsenal. They played well on Sat after a week off same against us. They cannot play at that pace week in week out with lots of midweek games coming up. I wish we had more away games than home as we seem to perform better away at the moment

They're still in the honeymoon period. Like Emery at Arsenal once the new wave optimism hits an obstacle that's when its really tested. Is Solskjaer going to outsmart Pep, Klopp, Emery or Sarri? and how will they respond if they lose?

Their away form is a massive cause for concern for them. The others are picking up points on the road, Arsenal struggle. I think their result against Chelsea was just one of those games that suited them on the day. They cant get up for it every week, especially away from home.

We just have to take care of ourselves and not worry about the other teams.
Watford next in the league, who is going to score for us?
We have to win our next 3 (Watford, Newcastle, Leicester) do that and it puts us in a strong position before some tough, tough fixtures - drop points in those 3 and 4th is going to be tight.
There are 4 of us fighting for 2 spots - we can do it but we need to find goals in this side for Feb, thankfully we have easier games on paper in the league. Cups are gone though as suspect we lose on thurs and sunday but given our squad issues that may not be a bad thing

How would it ‘ not be a bad thing ‘ to lose on Thursday. With a comment like that I wonder if you are a Spurs fan at all.

You quite obviously didn't listen to Poch when he said to have faith in this squad. Good grief. We've been dying for a trophy for years, and you suddenly want us to throw a semi final when we're two games away from a trophy? Nah I we want to win. By the way, all the injuries are up top, our backline is fit and ready to go to defend a 1-0 lead.

It could work in our favour. With Kane, Son and Alli playing Watford, Newcastle and Leicester would be parking the bus. They might take us for granted now. Maybe not that exactly but they might fancy their chances more (who’d blame them) and the more open the game the better for us even with a weakened team. All of our back 5 options are back now aren’t they (not sure about Aurier) so defensively we’re ok. And offensively speaking Eriksen Lamela and Moura are more than capable of getting the job done against our next few opponents. Dier needs minutes and has had a bit of a rest which is another bonus. What we don’t fucking need is Eriksen getting injured in the next couple of games but it’s like we’re guaranteed to pick up 1 a match at the moment.

Problem is all 3 have been out of form to varying degrees so if we're going to get out of this mess they'll have to hit form, we're out of options.

This is an understandably overlooked bonus of our current injury predicament. Sissoko, Dele and Kane will all come back full of energy for the run in and I think that will be very useful.
