Very much doubt the Leicester players give a sh*t tbh. They will be on the beach as we saw last season. With absolutely nothing to play for it’s incredibly hard to keep motivated. Even a 5% drop off is enough for a thrashing.Tbh considering Wembley anything we got this season was a bonus. 3rd and some memorable european nights is acceptable.

I hope you're right but last season was a different scenario. We'd already secured top 4 by the time we faced them. If however we need to beat Leicester to get top 4 in the upcoming match I reckon the game will be a lot more tense. I'd imagine the media in the run up to the game will pile on the pressure. Going into the final game needing points is risky as anything can happen. Well, anyway, hopefully we'll do the business before then so it won't matter.

You're right though, considering we were away from home for the entire season a top 4 finish is a fantastic achievement.

There's also a big difference in the CL prize money allocation from the teams that finish 1st-4th. For instance Chelsea have earned more from this season's CL than Liverpool will do, unless they win it. I'm sure, the lads will want to finish above Liverpool after all the stick they've been giving Kane. There's lots of little things for Poch to use to motivate them.

That Arsenal 55 consecutive games was league only. Proving annoyingly hard to find the record for all competitions.

61 is european record held by Madrid. World record is 73 which Madrid just missed out on this season held by santos.

If you're so concerned with Spurs finishing outside the top 4 put your money where your mouth is otherwise stop tempting fate, cheers.
I guess bookies always give me confidence when the bookies have long odds on it happening, like 33/1, they don’t like to lose money?. Anyway I put my money where my mouth is so I’ll shut up now.

Current odds to finish in the top 4 ( skybet)

Tottenham 1/100
Liverpool 1/50
Chelsea 12/1

Current odds to finish outside top 4 ( skybet)

Chelsea 1/50
Liverpool 12/1
Tottenham 33/1

I think all those doom and gloom mongers should put a hefty wager on us to not finish in the top 4 and Chelsea to finish in the top 4.
Yep that’s what I did! I won’t be happy at all and would gladly lose that 100, but a new motorcycle will sooth the pain? if it did happen, which of course it won’t.

Yep, we never perform in big games.
It’s just weird. Yes we beat Chelski at Stamford bridge for the first time in 28 years, and then play shit against city and Brighton. It’s just hard to know what spurs will do! I mean having the incentive to finish above Arsenal and going to a relegated Newcastle and lose 5-1 is crazy! I mean we need to win Vs Watford next week and get closer to top four finish and CL football, surly this enough motivation but with team you just don’t know who will turn up.
we play better when the pressure is off, i know that is natural but something a big club has to master. I think all the press and history had as dead cert to lose at Chelski so we didn’t feel any pressure and win. But the closer we get to the end of the season without the putting top four to bed the more pressure will be on us. I think the same was true sat, everyone talking about how we had the advantage because we were at home and again we don’t turn up.
There is still something wrong with this teams mental attitude and something Poch needs to address if we are to get to the next level.

Bringing in a couple of players who have previously experienced winning something would help the manager's cause.

I don't think we are suited to playing Leicester myself. They usually try to keep things tight and use Vardy to counter us but hopefully Puel is enough of an idiot to try and change their style for our benefit.

loads of our players have won things though.
Not with us though mate I'm not saying this is the root cause of our lack of success there are many factors to consider, I just think it may help our manager's cause a bit but then hey what do I know I'm no football manager.
