winning something this year is the most important thing for this young team. Our back up players should be good enough to get us pass Gent and Wycombe. If we are 7 points or more behind first place after we play stoke (chavs have pool away and arse at home between now and then), then the uefa and fa cup should be our priority.

totally agree

if we go for it big time in all 3 comps, we will end up with nothing. our squad just doesn't have the strength in depth. if players like Janssen GKN, and Sissoko where making big enough contributions it would help, then at the moment we have Lamela out. teams like Chelsea, Man U and Man C can have a go at all comps, because they can afford to pay players silly money to be able to sit on the bench

Agree we'll almost certainly rotate but we'll put out stronger sides if we get far in both competitions.

the worrying thing though is the further into the comps we go, the closer we get to burn out, though we have approached the press differently and we might have that extra in the tank at the end. get past Wycombe in the FA Cup, and then get a good draw in the 5th round, we then get into having to re-arrange League matches, which will need to be fitted in between the weeks of no EL league matches if we get to the quarters, which then means your playing twice a week most weeks.

the only bonus is after EL there are matches where perhaps Trippier and Davies, Lamela might be back, Winks will be able to fill in, and will be able to play, but to go far in all 3 comps we cannot play Kane, Eriksen, Alli, Dembele, Walker, and Rose in every game, but to progress past the quarters of both cups we would need to play our strongest XI, those players are a big part of our main hopes.

Winning the title in our last ever season at White Hart Lane would certainly be a fairy-tale ending

As for it being the most important thing in our history - from my eyes no question, but then I'm only old enough to have seen the 1991 FA cup win and the meek decades since. I guess older fans could argue that the Double Year would still be more important to them

I still can't imagine us actually winning it, but Leicester proved fairy tales can happen

This would be a far bigger achievement now. Far bigger. We have absolutely no right to win it really, with our budget and how the PL has built a small club of guaranteed winners.

Back then, we were one of the biggest and richest clubs, so while a great achievement, that gets greater over time as we go longer and longer without winning it again, it was bit more of a level playing field back then.

Also with the new stadium and everything, the impetus that could provide... it could be seismic

Bit harsh. We are playing a top team away.

I would take a draw if it was offered now.

Its not harsh, dont get me wrong I would be hapoy with a draw and for us to cement too three but if we want to win the league as Poch has said we need to win games like this. Especially when Chelsea are 7 points clear

I have never understood why Liverpool are rated so highly. Their defence is shocking.

Because people get overexcited by attacking teams and attacking players, it's the same reason why people will always rate Man City even though their defence is crap, but we've seen it all before bad defences don't win leagues.
