Sounds like roughly half the expected 85,000 will be parking at Stanmore, I may need to rethink that! :)

Factor in commuters that won't have got back to Stanmore by the time most of you are arriving...
Not going to be many spaces!

Been a ban on overground/underground for ages now and i still manage one on the overground from enfield to WHL on a match day so wouldn't worry too much

Thanks guys, looks like i'm gonna have to swallow the £5+ parking fee at the station (as long as i can get a space!)

looks like I need to extend my taxi service advertising to Stevenage, only live in Cottered;)

Really struggling to decide what to do. We are travelling down around half 1 tomorrow and if we get a clear road we can do it in 3 hours so is there a good place to park near Wembley that we can get a quick breakaway after the game back onto the M1? Spoke to a few people who are putting me off the idea of Stanmore. Spaces at the car park there seem to be a potential problem and also getting back there after the game!

You thought about Harrow on the Hill? Used to live there and it's reasonably easy to get to the M1, not sure about the parking situation though - there are car parks, not sure opening times, cost or maximum parking time though.

The London Designer Outlet mall next to Wembley Stadium has many restaurants. Can you get a drink there?

Coming from the south east, planning on just sitting on the Bakerloo Line all the way from Elephant & Castle to Wembley Central - sound reasonable or does anyone know of regular Bakerloo event day changes I should be aware of? TFL site seems to suggest it's running every ten minutes there and back all night. Seems too good to be true :cautious:

That's why we're at Wembley, isn't it.... so the Yachts don't get nicked from their moorings on the Lea..

I heard they are removing a section of the lower tier and flooding it to allow yachts to back into the stadium and watch the game as they would the marina section of F1

You can but there aren't any actual bars, just restaurants with small bar sections so wouldn't recommend it.
