Will be interesting to see if Mike Dean stays away from reffing our games this season, although the authorities will hope VAR will eliminate any controversy

Rice and Antonio not bothering to help out and track back, letting Cresswell deal with Mahrez and Walker by himself. Genius.

a shambles of a decision that was
And even more so that we didn't stand firm and refuse to do the deal unless they agreed to let us bring in Sancho in return. £55m for Walker and then being told to get stuffed with Jaden Sancho was such a false economy against our favour.

An easy decision if he wanted to leave with his contract running out.
Im sure he signed an extension the season before? we would have had to force him to stay as his head had turned but we haven't come close to replacing him and he doesn't look like he has diminished as a player

His contract wasn't running out. He was signed until 2021 and we sold him in 2017. He might have wanted to leave, but we weren't at any imminent risk of a Toby/Eriksen situation with him.
