Can’t imagine us ever being awarded a goal like that. Especially if Michael Oliver was officiating and is was Son challenging the keeper!

Newcastle could do with getting Almiron on early in the second half. They've got nothing in attack at the moment.
He's going to be one of the most hated in the Prem. His acting today was ridiculous, just like here in the states. Diving all over the place.

It will never be given a foul, just like today. Even in a VAR situation, this wont be given as clear & obvious.
It was clear and obvious though, there are clear angles showing that Boly had both hands wrapped around the keeper's shoulders. Just because the keeper should have been more aggressive doesn't mean that dragging him down is not a foul, or that VAR wouldn't have given it.

mmm... I didnt see any dives. He was clearly fouled twice. May be he may dive in other games. I really liked what I saw. He was active, even in defending corners , seem to be directing players around him. Seeing him for first time, he looks a good prospect & outlet for Newcastle

VAR would given it as a foul

Nope....VAR will ask the referee, who will recheck it. Ref may not turn the decision.

Another thing here is, Boly jumps early than Dubravka. So his hands has to be in front of his body. This is the thing. Dubravka unlike other goal keepers jumped so late so he was always at a disadvantage. Given Boly's early jump, his hands are in natural position. Dubravka jumps late and leans back. A static picture isnt going give this context. GK by sheer stupidity came 2nd best when he always had the advantage. For that alone, attacker gets the benefit for me.

He didn't dive today but he rolled around like he got shot until the foul was given. Give him a few games, he's too good of a player to act the way he does on the pitch.

2 Friday night matches this weekend?

Cardiff-Watford
West Ham-Fulham

Then Spurs. Then just 2x 3pm games, and a late game. Then 2x on Sunday. It's a bit like the FA Cup weekend again!

Wetspam win or lose is irrelevant. Fulham losing and hopefully relegated will see us having a chance of getting Sess.
I have seen very little from him this season to warrant us paying what Fulham would want for him. Going by the figure quoted over the summer I’ve not seen anything from him to suggest he’s worth half that

Absolutely. I don’t see anything there that suggests he’s going to trouble our first team anytime soon.
