No as the ball has to go backwards

The direction the ball goes has no bearing on if a player can be offside. It's a common myth.

Individually, I would agree. But collectively, we have been shocking in defense. Even our 'world class' players in Toby and Lloris have made howlers this season, and not just them. We have looked nervy at the back every single game. We have been lucky, against better opponents, we may very well have lost a lot more.

I do think we will improve as the season goes on, as you say, we have quality at the back. We haven't been helped by the amount of injuries, we're homeless, not being able to field the same 11 from one game to the next. Any team would suffer under those conditions.

I hate Man City in basically every way possible, but fuck me, that video is pure class. I guess it's different tastes for everybody but I have wondered for a while why we're so shit in the video productions department.
