Porto claimed their 3rd consecutive title this weekend with a 6-0, but are facing a match fixing enquiry from when Mourinho was at the club. Reports suggest if they are found guilty they may even be relegated, ala Juve.

Firstly it will be interesting to see the whether Mourinho was involved in any of this and what will happen to his future surrounding this latest footballing scandel.

Secondly it could spark a mass exodus from Porto if they are relegated with some top class talents like Quaresma, Lucho Gonzalez and Boswinga all likely to be out of the door and at a reasonable price. Slightly different to the Juve situation where the players who left were always likely to go to a massive club, the current crop of Porto players are very talented but slightly less high profile and so some bargains may well be available.

Edit: I just noticed the other thread already made on this last week, but as an interesting aside rumour has it that Quaresma may be available for as little as £5m and that the gooners are sniffing around.

Very interesting.

If Porto get relegated and there's a firesale of their players, Lucho would be first on my list. Whenever I've seen Quaresma, he's played like a Big Time Charlie. But I know lots of SC members rate him.

Yep, been saying even before this story broke that we should go for Lucho, I mean Everton got close, and he is a quality player.

This match fixing thing is rubbish though, they drew one of the games in question, what the hell type of fixing is that, at least win the damn game.
