What 11 do you think Pochettino will go for against west ham with the current squad ( not inculding potential signings ).
Going by the system and players Southampton used in that system and our players who best fit that system I would go for

Lloris
walker verts Chiriches rose
capoue dembele
lamela Eriksen townsend
Ade

This an early thread :p

I suppose there is a point to it though, I'd say he will use this team (but I'm 99% sure we would have signed a few players by then):

Lloris
Waker Chiriches Vertonghen Rose ( :( )
Capoue- Paulinho
Lamela ( :) )- Holtby- Eriksen
Soldado
Just for fun, this is the team with potential signings:

Lloris
Walker- Lovren- Vertonghen- Rojo
Capoue- Paulinho
Lamela- Eriksen- Remy
Bony.

I agree their will obviously be a few in and outs but im curious about who out of our current squad would fit Pochettino system/style

i swear managers aren't limited to one formation. i could be wrong(as everlasting seconds says there's a first for everything).
Obviously you're right but he seems like the type of manager who will mould players to a formation, and thereby improving them, rather than change his ideas and formation to suit the players.

I could be wrong though.

Going with the best players we have for each position:

Lloris

Walker - Kaboul - Vertonghen - a cone

Sandro - Holtby

Lamela - Eriksen - Chadli

Soldado

I wonder if he would consider a 3-5-2 set-up?

I bet Rose would suck less as a true wing-back, rather than an attacking fullback who gets caught up field too often.

Don't even try argue with me Poch, this is how to do it. Deep laying two-man CM pairings do not work with us apart from Sandro/Dembele. And they can't play every game

I like the idea behind it, but at the moment we struggle to put together 2 good CBs, let alone 3
