And I would never be manager of Arsenal and yet if they came calling I would sign on the dotted line. It is called a job. Being a professional. Taking on one of the biggest jobs in the world.

If Barcelona comes calling MP would be hard pressed to turn down the position.

I don't know, Poch strikes me as a humble footballing man, uber professional. You're right, Barca are one of the biggest clubs in the world, like RM, are virtually guaranteed success in a relatively weaker league. But I get the impression that building something massive at Tottenham, sustained success (which now seems quite likely) - professionally - would be more satisfying to the Poch.

All just opinion of course, maybe a dash of wishful thinking sprinkled on top, but it's there for all to see, what's being developed. Wouldn't you rather be the next Alex Ferguson, than join the biggest club in the world, only to be discarded after 2 or 3 seasons?

He is also a top coach with ambition to become one of or the best in the world in which case he will be able to pick and choose and won't have to jump at a job just because it is a big club.

Pochettino is in a really unique situation. He is in a position where he could become a martyr in Football terms.
There is no where else in the world that he could take a mediocre team and turn them into world beaters. If he joined Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, Man U. Chelsea etc. He could potentially become just another cog in an already established machine.
With Tottenham, he has the potential to become an absolute Legend in world football. Creating an exciting squad with an exciting game.
Even of Barca offered money, I am sure that they could not price us out the market. I thin Enrique is on about GBP7.5m a year. I sure that Levy has more than enough to reward Pochettino if he produces trophies
