I can relate to his pain, I think I am 30% the employee for a year after having a child each time.

However Trips in on 20-40k a week he can afford a night nanny so
No excuse

The night shifts are brutal but I would never trade that for a night nanny. Well done to the lad for living up to his responsibility.

I'm surprised you don't hear about this kind of thing more often. Babies completely drain you if they don't sleep the night. Having started a new job when my girl was 6 months old I still feel like they haven't seen the best of me a year and a half later.

This is so true it affects everything, woman go nuts, no sleep, arguing. although I am sure the club help out a lot these days.

God knows how Saldardo coped new club then lost a baby!

You know some ppl have children who sleep, my cousin has to wake hers up. No wonder she has 3 and might have more. I can relate to your pain, having a child completely ruined my relationship, life as I knew it, I forgotten what sleep was like. So I did the only sensible thing had another!!! If u think ones bad two is fucking stupid, God only knows how ppl have 3 or more. 7 children you must need to drive a small bus.

P.s would not change it for the world

After the night I've just experienced with my youngest good luck, you'll need it sir...
I would honestly become celibate if it meant I'd be guaranteed to have no more, we pretty much are these days anyway due to a lack of sleep.
Here's to another sleepless year....

I've actually got a mate who moved into his spare bedroom after the birth and didn't go back to the marital bed till his girl was four...

True enough, but however much we might be expected to be, sometimes we physically / mentally just can't.

Sounds sensible. But maybe he's putting his family before his job at a very important time. A bit irking if you're a Spurs fan (although how much are people really bothered?), but means a lot more to his wife and kid.

My 7 month old still regularly wakes up 2+ times a night.
Been a shadow of my former self for, oh, about 7 months now.
