Need to keep quiet and only ever talk on the pitch.
Poch did not say we are going to win the Premier League. He said we have the capability to fight to the end and to keep close. To which I agree, as it is already happening.
To say we can win it all, Poch will have to wait until at least next season, when we finally have a home stadium and the resources to strengthen our squad.

We certainly have it in us to stay in touching distance and pounce if circumstances go our way, which they might. Very unlikely but we find ourselves in the scrap for a fourth year running. That in itself is a huge achievement.

It’s down to us really. We have Chelsea away, Liverpool away and City away to come.

I don't see us having the resources in the summer to strengthen unless we sell a couple off which then defeats the object of keep starting over again.

To be able to do it, we would have to beat Liverpool and City at their grounds- and with as much bias as I can give us, I just can't see us doing that. Sadly. Amazing we're still anywhere near if we're honest.

The uncertainty of the stadium has been a blow. Losing two of our best players at this stage of the season has hurt. With things stacked against us, we still fight. I am proud of Poch’s Spurs team.

Liverpool give up a lot of chances. I hope we press the shit out of them and get in their faces. Same with City.

Would that be the same Liverpool who have conceded 14 goals in 24 games? Or did you mean last season's Liverpool?

Journalist asks question.

Manager makes considered, balanced, detailed response.

Journalist's colleague attaches distorted, simplistic clickbait headline.

Fans make knee-jerk, irrelevant, thoughtless, one-line, content-free responses.

So many fans. So much bullshit.

I said they give up a lot of chances, not goals. Anyway, hopefully they'll keep dropping points here and there.

How is it possible if you have to hold a press conference and use it to the best advantage? Why wish to keep quiet and not appreciate the skill of motivational speech?

You just don't say anything that can be construed as "we can win it" or "we can go all the way" or "there's a chance" etc.
They'll twist it, for sure. But they're looking to set him up to have egg on his face. Best thing is to just avoid the subject altogether.
"Can you win the title MP?"
"If we win more games than everyone else, may be?"
"Its a big gap, the teams above us would need to really break from form between now and the end"

Make all the answers about them, not us.

So what has he said in the article that was construed as him saying we can win the league?
