Good insight into one of the most exciting players we have ever signed IMO.

Can't wait to see how he fairs once he has settled in, the kid is going to be world class.

Very interesting read.

So, our song for Lo Celso must include the word 'MONITO' in the lyrics. I'm sure he will be pleased.

Could use the "Just one cornetto" song with Monito instead! Someone with superior imagination than me would be better equipped though!

Despite the pair falling on either side of their city’s club divide, Pochettino has long seen Lo Celso as a central part of Tottenham’s future and, according to reports from Argentina, his decision to remain as Spurs manager this summer rested on Daniel Levy signing the 23-year-old.

Interesting.

Danny,Ringo Stars No No song would be great
It's an easy tune
lo Celso and Monito both work
It could be the Lo Lo Song

Lo Lo they cant take it no more
You pass it to Kane and he scores
Give it to Son and he will get one
and Hugo will then shut the door

Ok not perfect but a start

Here..

This is an excellent read, thank you - this has excited me, he is definitely a Poch player - versatile, press resistant, brave on the ball - think we're gonna see big things from him.

This also gave me confidence in the believe by Poch and others.
The key is chemistry between the players.Espcecially Ndombele and Lo Celso but also Lo Celso and Kane and Dele Alli and Son etc
Seeing the fluidity of Silva and Aguero and between Firmino/Mane and Salah. We need more of that than we have got...more dynamic a final third than we have seen last season.

Everyone seems to have seen those Betis highlights but has anyone see these with PSG from 2017/18, he looks real quality.

In honor of Lo Celso, I now request that I solely be referred to as the "Ruby of Spurs Community".

Great Thanks Shady he has great instincts as does NDombele they should be great together.
Hopefully it will all create more great stuff the others.I hope that Dele gets into the act too as he has great talent as well and we need to flow a bit more than we have the past seasons.
More a focus on attack is the ticket.

Good article but does beg the question, with Poch being an admirer for so long, why didn't we sign him last summer when he was available from PSG on loan with £22m fee that Betis got?

The Eriksen situation was probably not where it was this year.

Yeah hopefully (against what Harry Kane said at the weekend) we can learn to play in a way that he and Ndombele thrive, and have better passing and moving, (something that you need more than one player to do)

I feel he will improve us as we are; a team that is IMO (over) reliant on running with the ball. And as a passing team, as he seems to have great awareness of his surroundings, and can find players behind him in good positions with a flick or dummy and keeps things moving at a pace. Hopefully our players quickly get on his wavelength.

Annoyingly i could see him linking up well with Lamela, just not sure how often the two will feature together.

Lamela is a conundrum.Great at pressing and has good flicks he lacks something else.I don't think his decisions are always good especially when he has the ball and tries to take in a player or two.
Lo Celso looks like he is more capable as do some of our other players like Dele.Dele you know there is something more there He just has to be focused in the bigger picture.Lamela has talent no doubt but lacks something that we've needed and he hasn't delivered.More substance. Both Dele and Lamela have to step up more.
NDombele opening up space early can create the canvas for any of them and they just have to finish it

He (we) would be better for players on a similar wavelength to Lamela. as he is a player with a picture of what's around him and when the space/movement is there he can find those 1-2's and balls around the corner, unfortunately we have too many that slow it down with 5-6 touches before doing anything, and our movement is slow and predictable, making Lamela more reliant on dribbling and trying to commit defenders which he is hit and miss at.
