Eriksen's contract with the north London club runs until the end of June 2020 but it has been reported that talks over a new deal have stalled.

A big step towards encouraging him to sign would surely be him knowing that the manager will be there for the foreseeable future too.

Not convinced - Poch only signed a long term contract fairly recently and the contract saga has been going on longer than the Poch - Man U speculation. Poch will always be linked with top jobs - I think this is more about whether Eriksen thinks that Spurs can fulfil his ambitions.

Do we know
what the problem is?
Should be on top money
if it's just that.

Pay the man
and Toby
unless they are
completely out of order.

He's waiting on Barcelona, If they are going for him or Hazard (Hazard is first choice)
. It's a waiting game.

Apparently the issue with Toby was that his agent reneged on an agreed sum after Poch went to Levy to plead Toby's case, hence being dropped for second half of last sesson. If that is true, I doubt Levy will be paying any more than what was offered and it will be Toby who makes the decision.

If we lose Eriksen and don’t replace him immediately, I think we’ll struggle to finish in the top four.

The Guardian reported that Llorente is on 100k per week. If that's true, you can see the urgency in getting him off the books asap. And pay the top performers, like Eriksen, in line (but less than) Kane. It'll cost way more to replace them.

I think if he's going to re-sign he would have done so by now ? I have a feeling we will sell him on this summer.
