Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has been handed a two-match touchline ban and fined £10,000 by the Football Association.
Pochettino has been punished for his improper conduct charge and will have to sit in the stands when Spurs return to his former club Southampton on Saturday as well as their trip to Anfield.

Fucking joke when you consider this is a first offence and the punishments handed out to serial offenders like Wenger, Mourinho, Klopp etc.. Disgraceful treatment of one of the most polite and well mannered managers to have ever graced the EPL.

To be fair, Poch and his assistant were very intimidating with their actions.

No doubt he will get some stick from the Saints fans, he might prefer to be sat in the stands for that one!

Can’t complain. Harry got let off for a headbutt. Sanchez got let off for a kick at Koscielny. So they wouldn’t let this one slide.

Yes, but it's 100% out of character for them to behave like that so you can only assume that Dean said something quite inflammatory to set them off. They don't seem to have considered any mitigating circumstances at all. Probably being totally paranoid but I can't help thinking he'd have got a 1 match ban if we weren't playing Liverpool in the second match.

Its hard not to feel like its slightly conspiratorial sometimes. They must give their beloved poster boys Liverpool all the advantage they can get. Its just not fair that Spurs have broken into the top four at the expense of one of their favourites. The sooner Spurs are put back in their place the better!!

I think it's a bit harsh. Players react to bad ref decisions in a similar way and just get a yellow card.

I think being in the stand will benefit Poch. It takes the motion out of the game. I know emotion is a trait of his, but this will give him a chance to watch the game from an elevated position and see what we see as fans. It will change his perception of the game, our performance, set up, gaps, etc.

We may benefit from having him there. I know Fergie used to sit in the stand in the first half to assess how the game was going and came down in the first half only if needed.

"Klopp has twice escaped a touchline ban this season, once for running on to the pitch in celebration at the end of the victory over Everton at Anfield, when the German was fined £8,000 and warned about his future conduct.

That did not stop Klopp confronting referee Kevin Friend following Liverpool’s 1-1 draw at West Ham United and then accusing the official of bias. He was fined £45,000 and once again warned about his behaviour but escaped a touchline ban."

Football, as in life, is not fair. Never is. But look at the things we had gotten away with. Our stadium situation is a fiasco and yet we are still allowed to play there for the rest of our home games provided it is ready for the next home match in April. Other clubs have already voiced it is a huge advantage for us, and should not be allowed. So we take the rough with the smooth.
