Mauricio Pochettino says he is confident Dele Alli will be fit for the Champions League final, despite the midfielder "feeling strange" during Tottenham's draw against Everton on Sunday.

The 23-year-old started the 2-2 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but was withdrawn at half-time.

Poch said that Dele's "performance was very poor" in the first half. He obviously meant that he was hampered by whatever was making him feel strange but I'm surprised the usual media wankhampers haven't jumped all over that quote and used it out of context.

I wondered why he came off at HT. Very unlike Poch to make HT subs unless it's drastic measure time (Ajax for example)

Probably injured yesterday that's why he came off, if Harry comes back for the Champions League, either Son, Lucas or Dele have to drop out, my preference would be for the latter, the last few games of the season he has been poor, maybe because he was carrying a injury I don't know.

TBH, I though he was superb against Ajax. Directly involved in 2 of the goals, had chances himself that he was desperately unlucky with.

Not worth keeping him on yesterday as we don't need more key players crocked. Even not at his best he remains one of the most likely PL footballers to turn a match in a moment

More I think about it, Kane has to start on the bench.
I know he's our talisman, but it will be difficult to assess if he is fully match fit with no competitive games. I doubt he will last 90mins, so prefer him on the pitch in the 2nd half for any potential penalty shootout.
I think Alli was taken off as a precaution and it indicates he will play. Moura and Son have more than earned their starting places.
