It’s all down to consistency. The win yesterday was certainly more luck than judgment, but we got away with it. Can’t see us playing like that twice against them and getting into the final though! You just never really know what Spurs side you’re going to see, game on game. Last night was mostly the disjointed, cautious, slower, pass back to the goalie 100 times Spurs. Thankfully, what we usually get is more of the intense, quick little triangle passing, attacking Spurs.

Last nights game plan seemed to be to pass the ball around inside our own box and maybe, occasionally, if at all possible, try to break and see what happened.
It was nice to win, against one of our rivals, in a fairly big game, but I don't think I've left a match after winning so disappointed tbh. It was like watching Burnley trying a snatch and grab. The reason many of us support Spurs is that we are better than that, even at our worst.

I hope we don't go into the 2nd leg and play for a draw. we need to give our best if we want to win something.

but the thing with cups... sometimes u need a little bit of luck and things to go your way.

many times these games are a toss-up, one key moment here, one mistake there and a final can swing one way to another. winning the league is straight forward, juz be consistent. for the cup... u just need a bit of good luck... and you never know... we might win this thing.

let's keep believing! COYS!

So he's not a fan of playing in 4 competitions with 2 healthy central midfielders and then selling another central midfielder (probably the best one) without any replacements.
