This is what happens when an old thread gets bumped, people start replying to posts that are months old lol.
Done it myself (still do).

Big Brother got him then. He's a non-person.

Or he now dresses only in attire specially sanctioned by THFC special services. He conforms to the identity they gave him, eats where they tell him, lives where they tell him. From now on he has no identifying marks of any kind. He does not stand out in any way. His entire image is crafted to leave no lasting memory with anyone he encounters. He's a rumor, recognizable only as deja vu and dismissed just as quickly. He doesn't exist; he was never even born. Anonymity is his name, silence his native tongue. He's no longer part of the Squad. He's above the Squad. Over it. Beyond it. He's "them". He's "they". He's through on goal...

I think we should keep him for the simple fact that he looks like Hot Shot Hamish when he shoots.

...obviously, it would be nice if he had Hamish's accuracy too

Sorry for the bump. Any news of VJ's recovery, if there is any rumour of sale, faint glimmer of another shot with us?

I know this isn't a commonly held view, but I thought he was treated very harshly and kicked out prematurely. Maybe he was a victim of joining us after Soldado.

He always worked really bloody hard, but he had zero luck - every bounce went away from him, every shot was turning the wrong way. Spectacular saves from mediocre keepers, 50-50s were more 70-30s just from sheer shitty luck, I always felt sorry for the guy.

It didn't even look like a lack of confidence, he looked as exasperated as every fan there when an oppo's shoelace somehow manages to divert a crisp strike.

No idea which god he pissed off but the only explanation I can think of is that he's paying some sort of holy penance.

So do I, I feel like he must have done something wrong, personally. And no, not something wrong such as playing shit, before the smart answers come! Can't remember another player that Poch has neglected as much. Even N'Koudou got a small cup run out against West Ham recently. Would still prefer him to Llorente.

Makes you wonder. He showed some bits that if he worked hard over that summer might start the season more adapted. On the whole I'd prefer him to Llorente also.

Yep, still feel he has more to his game that FL. Just needed a tad of luck and things could have been very different.
