He can make up for his lack of pace by making good runs and getting the ball played in early. ..consistently makes good runs for us as well but often I notice he isn't given the ball early enough, not sure whether its a matter of trust or chemistry with teammates.

This isn't Sunday league when you ignore the worst player on the team because he looks like he's running on marbles. He's a young, accomplished international who has scored goals for fun in the recent past, so I'm going to assume that your statement doesn't ring particularly true.

That isn't to say Janssen won't succeed because Soldado didn't
Although in truth I think I saw more positives from Soldado during his first season than I have from Janssen, for the most part he's looked a real donkey with no pace and at best some decent hold up play and the odd decent potential assist
I'd love him to come good, as I would all our current "flop" signings, but I find it hard to believe having watched him play for us so far. But he's young and has time to improve if he is still with us next season
I'm certainly going to give him the benefit of the doubt if we don't sell him and choose to believe that we keep him because Poch thinks he will come good rather than us not being able to find a buyer willing to pay a decent amount for him. Will be interesting to see if Poch wants to keep or upgrade
MOre than one player in recent times have been sold on despite not having a great deal of playing time which suggests if Poch has cast a negative judgement on Vincent he will too be sold

It was a well angled run rather than a pacey run, showed intelligence to make the run and with the way he committed the keeper as he knocked it past him and drew the foul/penalty

No, he's scored goals for one season In his entire career, and most of those were over a 5 month period in a very weak Dutch league.

Why do you bother making up shite? He scored 46 goals in 68 matches in 14/15 and 15/16, and an additional 10 goals in the season before that. Go ahead and write him off, but at least back it up with something that is somewhere in the remote vicinity of factual.

Nothing to LoL here...Fact is he is only 22 and he can only score only against, who he is played against. He has now 6 goals in 12 international games as well...
