Sissoko and wanyama in a 424 formation. Not much finese in their but will dominate the cm area and shuttle it forwards.
Could help us re introduce a hard pressing system.

IIRC we looked our best with VW and MD in a 343 which was more like a 545 such was the prowess of peak Walker and Rose.

433 with sissoko wanyama winks be a nice blend and very tenacious. Really think you need 5 CM over a season. If regains full fitness no issues keeping him if we add another sissoko strong runner type. Just don’t think Skipp is ready yet.

Really hoping he can get back to his best now as he’s had some of his best outings for over a season in most recent games.

Fingers crossed.

Promising signs again from Big Vic. He's not at his best yet but he really gives us something different in the middle that we've been missing all season. I thought his physicality gave us a lot of protection yesterday and, while his passing and shooting aren't amazing, he's better and more adventurous than either Dier or Sissoko in that regard.

Really hope his injury worries are over cos he could be absolutely huge for us next season.

As a defensive base he gives us much better protection than what we've had recently. However, Wanyama isn't a player who can take the ball and drive forward bursting through the lines, like Sissoko or Winks can. It's why we struggled to penetrate or attack quickly last night. Therefore we do really need that balance for it to be completely effective. If we can get VW back to 16/17 levels then we may be right. We still need another CM though.

After a run of games I expected victor to be somewhat up to speed. He just doesn’t have that awareness around him at the moment.

Nothing to do with awareness

He is a shell of the player he was pre injury. Horrendous tonight. I’m not blaming Big Vic because he was fantastic before his injury

Like Sandro and many before him unfortunately he'll never be the player he was

The medical team will know better than me but we need to take a serious look at him this summer and decide whether he's still got anything left to offer. It's hard to admit because I like him and he's still only 27 years old, but he looks finished to me.

Somebody would be crazy to buy him, even a Championship team. His legs have gone.

I think the days of being able to sell your cast offs to a Tony Pulis or Allardyce team are long gone now. More progressive managers in now that want younger, fitter and more hungry players.

Doubt we will get any more than peanuts for him.

Got a long summer Inc preseason to really work on his physique in the gym, fitness out in the field Inc how he goes about nutrition to come back superior than ever

Or he could just lounge on the beach for a month come back and just follow the club plan and nothinv more.
It's totally up to him, he's still young .
