I think Toby stays. I think Sanchez is excellent. Foyth is a talent. Dier is a great player to have around. We’re good.

Think you’re right, then I think he’ll sign for Ajax with similar wages but a decent signing on fee.

If Toby stays will Poch start Sanchez over him? Can see Sanchez leaving if he doesn’t get a more important role this season.

If Sanchez isn't starting week in/ week out this season it'll be the season after, which would be the earliest chance he'd be able to move on realistically anyway.
He ended up spending the whole game on the bench 9 times, was injured for 12 and played a part in 37 matches in total. He needs to improve if he wants to up those numbers if not he will simply have to wait until he's the 2nd best central defender at the club to get more starting action.

IMO, even if Toby stays, we have to start preparing for life without him. I think Sanchez will get a lot of game time and can even see a scenario where Toby covers some duties at RB on odd occasions like he does for Belgium. I'd love him to stay for a few more years but it seems highly unlikely and we probably need to move forward and trust the younsters.

Something odd here, 25 mill is a steal. If he is signing a new contract thats great news...but I dont see why clubs that want him now would not pay the 25mill and wait another season to get him for free.
I would rather Toby stayed for another couple of years than he leaves and Sanchez takes over. I don't think Sanchez is anywhere near as good as Toby or as consistent. As young as he is I don't see him becoming a regular unless there is no alternative.

Hope he stays for 1 more year but where he rotates with Sanchez (with Sanchez getting more minutes than him). Wouldn't mind him leaving on a free after that.
