Freezing out Bailey, Martial, Shaw, falling out with Pogba and others, could be Maureen’s last season with Man United coming up.
Best get Poch's new contract signed sharpish then as I suspect he would be their primary target when Jose scuttles off.

Dream scenario is Poch signing a new five year deal with us this week and Jose losing his job early next season after falling out with all his players and the team doctor!

Actually funnily enough, there isn't as many United fans that want Poch as you think there is.

EDIT: Before I get another WTF rating, I find it strange also that some still don't rate him.

I'm on a United forum and a lot still don't want him as they don't see him as a winner, I can quote them if you like. Whats the image cause I don't get it lol.

Find it hard to justify Potchettino considering he's yet to win anything and has consistently allowed Spurs to do a 'Spurs' in big games. His game management is suspect.

Would stay away from Pochettino. Last time we got ourselves a decent PL proven manager who was supposed to do better with our funds didn't end up doing too well.

Pochettino is so far a serial loser and i'm sure when people mention Allegri they're only basing this on Watching Juve in the CL, he's another pragmatic manager, did anyone watch the Napoli game, worse than any Mourhino game this season.

Poch would be a waste at a top club. He's proven he can build a talented squad on a small budget, and deserves a lot of credit for it, but so far he's not shown any signs of being able to push on and win anything with that talent.

Honestly doesn’t warrant a response

Ok, well your post died not reflect that

Why? I simply said that not all United fans would be in favour of him, it wasn't my view on him. Without Poch we would lose a good few of our first teamers.

I wonder if we've held up this deal with the potential Martial swap becoming a possibility. All the ITK was about Toby was off to Spain, I also believe there was some about PSG, now its gone quiet on that front. Just seems strange to me when its been clear for a couple of months he's available.

Or could he be waiting till after the world cup? Put himself on a bigger stage?

How realistic is this swap deal with Martial? We have seen flashes of brilliance with Martial but Toby is one of the most consistent and best centre backs in the world

I mean the guy has proved himself plenty in the Champions league now and in the Prem for the last 3 years. Do you really think anything he does in the World Cup would vastly change anyones valuation of him?

It was a suggestion, like you I'm not sure why we haven't heard much on the subject as everyone knows the situation. I mean is there still a chance he signs a new contract?

Toby is also 29, and has missed at least 1/4 of 3 of the last 4 seasons with injuries. 2 of those spells were hamstring injuries, something that will not get better as he gets older.

I love Toby, but if Martial is coming back and we can also get de Ligt you make that deal.

I said "funnily enough" meaning I was quite shocked myself, but like you said... moving on.
Your original post reads as if you’re talking about actual clubs. You make no reference to talking about United fans. That’s where the confusion has arisen.
