I really want Serge to have another year as I think he’s better than what he’s shown but I would be happy for him to leave if it meant this guy comes in.
I am still adamant that a run in the side would see a strong full back in Aurier. However, if he continues to pick up niggly injuries it will just be a hinderance to us. Therefore if we can bring in funds for our priority areas then it's better to sell.

Pretty sure we'd let Aurier go if the deal was right. We're looking at a lot of foreign imports and could do with freeing up some spaces. If it helps to secure Ndombele I'd be all over it.

I’d imagine if we shifted Aurier and Trippier we’d go in for Youcef Atal. Him and KWP would add some threat down the right, though might force us into a 3 CB formation.

Think it's been interesting just how little we've heard about outgoings/targets at the RB position for us. Really thought we'd see 2 out, 1 in, and despite it being early, after the initial flurry of mutterings on Trippier, it's gone pretty quiet.

Reading some posts in various threads from people concerned about defensive midfielder, I have a feeling Winks and Ndombele would be fine as a central pair.

Winks is perfectly capable of sitting and Ndombele is an all action kinda player and I reckon they’d be quite a flexible midfielder duo.

I know before last time we did something similar with Bentaleb and Mason sometimes defence would be exposed, but Mason was more of an attacking midfielder (having played as a centre forward and being very prolific in that position for youth team / reserved) and Bentaleb perhaps lacked the discipline (and talking of his discipline he’s being punished at current club for lack of it!).

Winks even when we had those two in I felt had more about him and just seems a more complete all round midfielder. Although just to add I bloody loved Mason and mean no slight on him, was sad to see him leave.

Nah, I think it with be one of trippier or aurier. It won’t be both. Unless we get a ridiculous bid for trippier.

He's just sacrificed his life to start the move that led to France's first goal. Hope he's okay.

Side note: Great finish from Mbappe

FFS...Make your minds up. One minute we should sell Trippier and Aurier to fund AWB.

Now Aurier is the sweetner for Ndombele.

You slaaaaags. :LOL::ROFLMAO:

He’s looked off ever since that Andorran farmer clattered into him. Barely able to run unless absolutely necessary.

And that right side of Dubois and Thauvin has looked dreadful.

So he’s now limping and clearly injured? He’s entering into the Spurs way already.

I think this is a good omen.

Aaaaaand now he's coming off injured after another bad challenge on him... Spurs DNA indeed.

To top it off, Sissoko is coming on to show Ndombele how to get injured the right way

Hope his being subbed was more precautionary and that he'll be okay... because I've pretty much decided this is the signing I most want to happen this summer
