Someone posted a photo of him still on his holidays showing it was 3 days ago. I really wouldn't worry about the silence seeing as he did state in that interview that he wanted his time away first.

He's on holiday, Aulas is looking for a replacement, and both would be waiting for a Barca/Real to gazump us in the meantime.
A new financial year starts July 1st so I'd expect that to be the trigger, if none of the really big guns come in for him he's ours.

Think it's just at that stage where it's too risky to say anything and he/she doesn't want to jump the gun. He/She was burnt by the Balde situation a couple of years back so I don't think he'll/she'll ever be prepared to say 'it's happening" until it's absolutely safe to do so. And I don't blame him/her.
