He is a joy to watch playing. He seems to really love his job and the club. He proves it is possible to play successfully at the highest level with a smile on your face. Long may it continue.

He could always bag a goal but his all round play has improved massively since he's been with us. His first touch is now virtually faultless and he's so much better at finding space. At one point he was more of a squad option but now he's a crucial part of our setup.

Son Heung-min
Eleven goals in his last 12 Tottenham matches, just when his manager and club needed him most. He never moans, he plays anywhere you need him to, he’s somehow still only 26 and he is too regularly involved in the crucial moments of crucial matches for it to be a coincidence. There may be more talented players in the Premier League than Son, but there can surely be no player who is a greater pleasure to manage.

His first touch has improved out of all recognition. Before it was decent when he was playing with confidence but pretty dreadful otherwise.

I think we need to cash in on him in the summer. Am sure we could make a fantastic youtube compilation of him, because he's been MOTM on several occasions this season and rightfully won PL Player of the Month in September. But he's also had several zero out of 10s this season. And one zero out of 10 is unacceptable, but there was yet another one against Liverpool where he was fucking crap. We just don't know which Son is going to turn up and the only alternative we seem to have is GKN who Poch doesn't seem to trust to start games.

All of our rivals have a fast, skillful attacking forward who causes teams trouble by running at them at pace, in fact some teams even play with more than one at the same time. Son is supposed to fulfil that role in our team and while he's brilliant on his day, he is far far too inconsistent to start for us. We've needed better in his position since Bale left, and whilst I don't expect us to get anyone as good as Bale any time soon I do think it's the most important position to strengthen this summer. And Lamela isn't the answer as even he on top form is nowhere near as good as the players that our rivals have in his position.

Just a quick note to say I am a complete fucking bellend and you should never listen to anything I say about football ever again

Allegedly (according to the DM) Levy is already offering him a new contract. £150k instead of £110k he signed last summer. Interesting.

As somebody said a few pages ago, he has been somewhat under the radar over here for some reason (to be fair he has moved to a new level this season and is suddenly being talked about).

But what people don't realise over here is that he was already the Christiano Ronaldo of Asian football. He is a marketing dream right now as he has become one of the best players in Europe as well. Picked on merit and being a match winner in the Premiership and Champions League

If Levy is genuinely trying to extend him so soon then it's because it's a no brainer

Absolutely deserving of a new deal regardless of only signing one a few months back. We use our contracts and pay rises as incentives and he has well and truly stepped up when we needed him most. Also good from a purely business aspect to keep a fantastic asset like Sonny tied down as long as possible. An absolute credit to the club.

reasons why we don't buy a ton of players, we don't need to. Poch just improves what he has. I think that's called coaching.

I have to admit I was not his greatest fan at first. He looked a bit of a lightweight to me, who went missing in big games, but he has really stepped up at an impressive rate over the last year.
He signed a new deal last summer I believe but must be worth a fortune in marketing in Asia. You cannot move at Wembley these days - its becoming like mini Korea and we will soon have to include Kimchi in matchday catering!.
Hope he gets that big contract as he certainly deserves it!.
