Any takers on his ability to play a DM role?

If he can then we could arguably fit Kane Son and Moura in a front line and Eriksen and Alli in midfield
He wouldn't be able to make his super strong surges forward, because there's no way on this planet Dele is going to have the intelligence to cover him and drop back.

Against the 'lesser' teams it's certainly an option, but he'll be overrun against the top 6/7 teams and CL teams in my opinion.

I know it sounds like a bit of a dickhead thing to say, but I was quite disappointed to see Son win our POTY over Sissoko at the end of the season. I'm glad he's got some sort of award-based recognition for the season he's had.

It's a shame he'll be 30 at the start of next season. For the kind of player he is, I don't think he has more than a couple of seasons left in him at current performance levels. That energy can drop off quite quickly at that age.

Still, reckon we're close to getting the full £30m of value out of him already anyway (not to sound too cold about it - I'm above all delighted for him on a personal level). But on his value, we tend to forget now, but he was rather excellent & very important at the back end of last season too. Could have made the difference for top 4. Same this season. Add to that this season's CL performances - he was the one who launched it at precisely the right moment against Ajax - and that's a lot of bank.

Love the video with everyone one singing his song, before presenting him with the first ever 'Legend's Player of the Year' award.

For me, player of the season is the player who did it in every game.
Son missed too many games to international duty and had a few meh performances.
Sissoko did it week in/week out, even when we were poor, so should have received the award.
