Luckily he was a rabbit in headlights anywhere near goal so we were privileged to see a lot of him at Tottenham otherwise he’d have been snapped up quicker than you could say overmarsisanonse

Remember during his debut when he scored and I thought we got a cheat code or something and he’d go on to just score shitloads for us.

In the end, he probably has been my favorite player to watch in my time supporting Tottenham. Bale, Kane, Son. That’s a great group of players to pick from in terms of a favorite as a fan of a club for only 14 years.

I just think of all those times when he’d run into a crowded midfield and split it in two like it was absolutely trivial work. How he’d box out his man and then flip and turn and instantly be at top speed and kick off an attack. Those times he got forward and roared back in defense to kill a counter or how it felt like he could do the job of 2. It doesn’t sound like the flashy highlights or the outrageous goals, but somehow the ease and grace of his play just kind of left you in awe.

He was fucking awesome and I’m so glad I got to watch his entire Spurs career.

I would love to see him come back to the club in some capacity, even if it's just to hang around at the training ground!
He was unbelievable. I loved watching him dominate oppo midfields all on his own. Such a class player and the best midfielder I've ever watched without question.

As much as I love moussa (he's definitely top 5 at least) for me the best midfielders I've seen in my time have to be Carrick (such and underrated player) and then Modric by far and away the number one. Modric was just on a different level.

He was world class at progressing the ball and being able to use his body to keep the ball away from the opposition. I loved him BUT he was incredibly frustrating as well because he would move the ball up the pitch beautifully but then generally do nothing with it. He was very good but lacked that part of the game to be seen as one of the best.

Looking back now, when he left it started the downfall of Poch.

He was so crucial for us.

Loved watching him play. He was just a one off - as strong as a bull, but with the grace of a ballerina as well.
Seeing Dier leave today I still find it hard to accept that team never won anything, given the quality they had - Kane,Alli,Son,Vertonghen, Walker, Lloris, Alderweireld etc.
Oh well, no point whining about it now!.

I always reminisce about that 2016/17 team, the best team we've had in my lifetime, I hope Ange can build something as good or better.

When I think of Mousa, I almost always also recall Zidane, and Federer. Sportsmen whose movement you just enjoy watching. Everything he, and they, did just screamed ease, elegance, poise, finesse, and in some kind of way, artistry, as a dancer has.

Weirdly, I don't remember Mousa constantly astounding me with consistence of performance during his time with his. His utter brilliance seems more apparent through clips or in hindsight. Or through the multitude of quotes we've seen from fellow pros who consider him the best player they've played against or with.

But yeah, he's absolutely a one-off. One of the best we've ever had. And a sheer joy to watch.

Imagine if at least one of either Mousa, Sandro or Wanyama would have been able to remain fit?

There has never and won't be a player who uses his arse and hips better than Dembele. So physically strong and clever.
