If it's all true that Pep, Jose, Carlo and Barca have all got the hots for Kyle - it must kill BC a little bit inside... :)

I imagine if he met any of that lot at some kind of do he'd spend the whole evening telling them where they are going wrong so I'm sure he'll still be sleeping soundly

I thought he was pretty rubbish actually when he came on over the weekend!

Still, it's just paper nonsense. Trippier is probably the best possible alternative to Walker we could get so if he did leave (and it wouldn't be to another PL club) we'd actually still be quite comfortable especially with KWP potentially to come through.

I'd be much more concerned over Trippier wanting to leave given his performances would warrant him a starting position in practically any other team in the league.

We're blessed to have two of the best right backs in the league. To add to that we definitely have the best left back in league we are lucky!

They can no longer hit us with lack of competitiveness or lack of Champions League, so it's the relatively low wages we pay they'll use as an excuse to tout our players elsewhere.

Gonna be a long summer....

Any player wanting a domestic move now is purely money motivated. Other than Bayern, Juve, Barca or Real why would any player leave when we are competing for the league two years in a row. Hopefully we have a squad that are in this for the right reasons....

Dunno if it's a long summer just cos nonsense transfer stories are created. There is zero chance we'd sell one of our starting 11 this summer. It's so clear that Levy and Poch know this team could win the league in next few years. There's no chance they'll disrupt that.

Not only that but we're building a stadium and trying to get sponsorship and build up brand, we'll look like a bitch club with no ambition if sold one of our players to a rival.

We won't sell to a PL team ever again and the only player I could see there being even a slight chance of making Barca or Madrid paying huge money for is Dele - but even that I don't see happening for a couple more years.

Why didn't Walker start at Wembley?

Why didn't Walker start at Wembley?

Because Trippier has played Cup games and we have 3 games in a week. Poch is renound for rotating full backs. It's happened constantly last two years. If midweek games he rotates full backs as he knows how important they are to how we play. If Walker doesn't start Weds maybe think 'ok is something going on?' Right now it seems pretty likely it's just rotation.

Even if we did think for some unknown reason 'Hey why don't we disrupt what we're trying to achieve here by selling a first team player and make ourselves weaker and whilst we're at it let's sell him to a team who desperately need a RB and strengthen them massively whilst weakening us' are City really stupid enough to spend £50m (cos that's the cost to disrupting our team Levy will put on it) on a 27 year old RB? I know they don't care about money but I think it's pushing it, especially considering they could buy an ex Pep player Kimmich for same who is more versatile and more importantly 5 years younger. The whole story just strikes me as nonsense.

Second time you've asked the question - The Standard, that fountain of knowledgeable journalism tells Spurs fans that Kyle Walker wanted to meet with Poch because City and Utd - two teams below us wants him ...

:ROFLMAO:

WUM alert.

As much as Kyle has improved under Poch he often resembles someone who's never kicked a ball before. I do genuinely like him and respect him for how far he's got in his career with such limited technical ability but the amount of times he gets the ball stuck under his feet is annoying and our play suffered on Saturday after he came on (which we can blame Poch for as well). It's odd that someone so quick can slow down our play so often.
If we sold him for mega money I wouldn't loose any sleep, it'd be huge profit and it's not like we have to worry about him playing us because he'd be up against Danny! :D

Huge profit, to do what with it? Buy another Sissoko and Janssen... I want us to add quality not remove quality. I want us to get rid of shit, not add to it.

If I was Poch I'd whip out my cock and tell him to suck these nuts cos he ain't going anywhere.

What I will say though is unfortunately out players seem to think anything below six figures seems low and maybe righto so as they're achieving champs league status again. The thing is woukd they come to us and say here have your 30k a week back seeing as we haven't made champs league this year.

If Davies is injured, then surely MP would have played Trippier on the left, Walker on the right, from the start on Sat?
So I'm thinking maybe Walker has a knock and could not play the full 90.

I'm sure the other top 4 clubs want to unsettle our players, even to the extent of over paying for them and putting them on the bench. Even good players can get lost in these large squads, not being flexible enough to play various roles the top coaches demand.

Or another Lloris, or Toby, or Wanyama etc. Our squad is full of amazing bargain signings and you include those two?
