Let us know how this one ends Tucker, its a real cliffhanger!

Latest update, Tucker's missus is believed to have said "if that fat **** wants to have another Chinese tonight he can forget about any fun at bedtime"

It's believed that he may or may not have eaten beans on toast, though he was seen walking past the Golden Dragon takeaway...

True, but as much as I like Walker, I think Trippier has more than enough in his locker to be better than Walker defensively when given a good run of games.
His lack of recovery speed will be a big problem in some games tbh. If he has a game where he's not on it in the final third it ends up being a very weak flank for us, especially in a 343..

I think the bottom line is we will not be able to compete with the the big clubs on wages. I think we will try to hold on to our best players ( like we did with Bale) but if silly bids come in like 100m for Alli, Kane or Erikson, I would expect levy to be looking at the coffers. But think the bigger risk is the silly wages that will be offerd. All the players agents will be telling them this is a once in a lifetime chance , remember you could have a injury next year and your career could be over and you have to get money in the bank while you can. Plus they will be telling Kane he can be the next Becks or Rooney and when he retires have a clothing and advertising empire with the the right moves to the right clubs and PR etc.
One club men don't exist anymore it is a tough business game. Luckily our star players are stil very young and I would hope even with silly deals and wages we can hold them for another year. Keeping them longer than that while we need money to pay for the new stadium and can't match wages will be very tough.

I would expect at least to loose one or two. I would say Erikson, Walker, verts, Toby, Dier and Loris are the biggest risks along with poch of course. But really I could see any of them going for the right deal. What I don't expect is us not to loose anyone. And of course there will be no big money for replacements. But then again we never spent big money on Alli Kane or Erikson so who know who we will get. For me Poch is the most vital to keep along with Kane next is, the goalkeeper and the two CB's.

Cheer up mate

At least we will still have Harry winks for a year until he gets once in a lifetime offer too the following year!
