I didn't say you was crying now, I'm saying you can't be upset in the future when a player doesn't show any respect to us when you're not willing to the other way.
I’ll show respect to the ones who deserve it. When/if Toby and Eriksen go I’ll be at the front of the line thanking them for their time and best of luck to em and all. Just not for him

No it really isn't. They are footballers not girls you were going out with. If fans could realise this distinction they might be less upset when one leaves that they really really liked.

I love him - i miss him arghhhhhhhh

I wasnt his biggest fan but he was someone who I respected etc - i mean his last act was going over to the fans at the CL final in tears and apologising etc. I also remember him shooshing the Man Shitty fans when we gone on and got the Llorente goal. Stuff like that is obviously going to endear you.

I agree though in general they aint like girls - although i still miss her dammit.

Will be GLORIOUS if we get to next summer and KWP has made the leap and establishes himself firmly as our first choice right back! :joyful:

.......forgot to add.

Foyth spent the ceremony afterwards talking to an Argentine coach and official, add in the fact he uses Wyscout to analyse his opponents will put him in a great frame of mind when coming up against opponents.

Also, Foyth played RB against City away and was very solid!

True Foyth was very good against but in that game we had what was it 7 defensive players on the pitch? When we play our 1st XI and normal game Foyth will need to be both defensively aware and creative and that’s were I’m concerned. If we’re playing 3 forward players and aren’t reliant on Foyth and Davies for that matter supplying the width then yes I can see why we would play both of them as they’re both decent defensively, they just don’t have the pace and energy to run up and down the wing all game or to keep up with anyone who’s reasonably quick.

My daughters first game was Fulham at Wembley last season. I was filming Trippier's free kick from just behind the goal. Watching everyone go mad and then her join in is a great memory which will last for me and hopefully her.

People are too quick to criticise and forget everything Trips did for us. Yeah, he had a rough season, but can't deny the man was an important figure in the last years and really cared for the club. His gesture after the Champion's League final especially showed how much of a class act he is. Truly wishing him the best of luck.

Wish Tripps all the best, not gonna lie i’m a little embarrassed by the way some of our fans express/expressed their discontent at his performances/generally him being at the club & i’m sure it don’t affect him too much some comments on the internet but it certainly doesn’t paint us in the greatest light.

It's a great little story really from Burnley to Atletico Madrid and none of this would have happened without Poch. Nice little profit too from £3.5M to £20M so it's all worked out pretty well because he would not be leaving unless Poch sanctioned it.

Good luck to him.

Good luck to Trippier.
Last season had its ups and dows...more downs perhaps. All in all he contributed to where we are today.
Hope he does well over there.

When he retires he will have had an unbelievable career. Scoring in a World Cup semi and playing in a CL final is enough but this is a new chapter for him

All the best to him, didn’t have the best season but neither did any of our English contingent. Felt a bit sad doing this but fuck it.

It shows far we've come when we can sell a player that isn't quite good enough to one of Europe's best and most consistent clubs!
