Dani Alves is 36 and will be 37 during the 2019/20 season, absolutely no chance of us being interested in him. Besides he rarely played as a FB for PSG... was utilised further up the field.

I suspect because he doesn’t have the energy to get up and down the pitch now for 90 minutes but is still a good player. No surprise really.

Due to that and his wages I can’t see it despite the effect his experience would have on the squad.

If you look at his stats, trophies won and clubs played for, it's a very successful career indeed.

Plus over 100 caps for Brazil.

You kind of forget about Dani Alves when thinking about the most famous players, but he's actually one of the most successful right backs of all time.

He's the most decorated footballer of all time

Ive not heard much about us being after a RB particularly if Tripps goes - i mean what would be having Foyth, Aurier and KWP?

If/when Tripps goes, we will bring in another RB

Will it be a ready made quality replacement though? As poor as Trippier was last season ( and ultimately I don’t think either he nor Aurier are good enough), replacing him with someone with no top flight experience is not really a solution in my eyes. We already have KWP for that role.

If we’re going to start the season with Aurier, new RB, and apparently Foyth playing some RB as well, then I’m not sure we will have KWP...

To be honest I’m confused about KWP. He is rarely trusted ( in fact more often than not gets chances at LB), yet keeps getting new contracts and is never sent out on loan to gain experience.

Really hope it's when rather than if. Got the Juventus/Napoli links but were noises he isn't that keen to move abroad. If that's the case, surely a team in the prem will cough up £25m odd for him.

I really can't see Trippier moving a broad...for some reason i think Villa or maybe Crystal Pal might come in for him.
