Not sure what I was thinking. Now that he holds up the holy lillywhite his head looks rather normal, and dare I even say, beautiful.

Best case scenario: he becomes our new Stephen Carr.

Good luck, Trippier! Seems to have a good head on his shoulders and I really hope it works out for him.

He looks like what happens you mess up the sliders in RPG character creation.

Good signing though, excited to see him in pre-season. Hopefully it'll give Walker the kick up the bum Davies seemed to give Rose.

Got a good feeling that Mitchell has worked his magic here.
Trippier is young, he's hungry, he's shown what he's capable of and hopefully will develop into an awesome RB.
Glad to have him at Spurs! :)

Looking forward to seeing how Trippier does. I was always a fan of Walker due to his pace, but it looks like his injuries are causing some serious problems.

Admittedly I haven't watched a lot of Burnley, but he looks like he's got a good cross on him which would work very well if Pochettino continues with inverted 'wingers' next season.

So I've sourced the snippets that were edited out of Trippier's interview.

"Yeah, I took one look at existing RBs at Spurs, and figured that displacing Walker and top 5 game time would be more fun than chipping in crosses in the championship. I'm happy, I'll even be making far more than the likes of Bentaleb now. And seeing that his CM partner Mason made it to England's squad, there is no reason – none at all – for why I can't do that."
