It’s not that you’re defending Trippier.

It’s the fact you then have to resort to constant neg ratings or sarcastic funny ratings on any posts against Trippier and you then also go into Aurier and KWP threads and are negative about them.

Maybe cut the silliness with the ratings and argue a bit less aggressively and people will not take the piss so much.

People in this forum are also entitled to state if they don’t feel Trippier is up to each it without you getting on their back, it’s what a forum is for, just let it go (although I agree people shouldn’t make personal comments about players).

And he sarcastically rates my post as funny, I rest my point...

So immature...

Awesome, now you can just read a load of negative posts that agree with you and ignore statistics and facts.

Well done on bumping the thread with that fucking bombshell btw.
Oh you bet your ass im taking this bait...

What facts do you speak of? That he’s been absolute garbage this season?

I find this thread both amusing & pathetic.

Here we have a player who wears the crest of our club, and he's come out & admitted that he's not performed as well as he could've done, and has done previously. But he's still the target of belittling comments & put-downs.

Yesterday, a guy who has been in equally uninspiring, limp form (Eriksen) comes out and says questions about form and performances are "bullshit" and yet he's praised and proclaimed as being made a scapegoat by ungrateful fans who are incapable of appreciating what he's previously done for the club.

There's nothing like a bit of consistency in the fanbase, is there.

They both been shit at times but it feels like we have little choice as insufficient depth in the squad and just have to accept it!

Oh absolutely. But one of them has come out & admitted it, but has been mocked and ridiculed as a result. But the other one came out, totally dismissed it & proclaimed such talk as "bullshit" , but he's proclaimed as being given an unfairly rough ride by people who refuse to acknowledge he's a good/valuable player.

Personally, form aside, I've got absolutely no beef with either player. But I can respect anyone who can admit their own shortcomings.

I don’t want to be that guy that only talks about him when he’s had a bad game so I’m going to say it, he had a good game today bar that cross. They targeted him and he was a bit shaky in the first half but much better in the second half

I agree. I dont think the finger pointer should be first choice for us but he was ok today...

He absolutely should be getting out to try and effect Robertsons cross. Sorry but that was just really poor. Other than that he did ok but still nowhere near the level that we want or need to be.

Good game? Mate, what is your definition of good when it comes to trippier? Not gift wrapping a goal?

He was alright tbf but another mistake cost us a goal again, people blame Hugo for the first which is mad considering Liverpool still had 4 passes before they scored, I thought Trippier not closing down Robertson on the cross was absolutely criminal, he probably did that because Mane has sneaked in behind him before but should have realised that Toby was covering him.

I'd cut him some slack. The guy has been carrying a groin injury all season. Yes I know defending is not his forte - sad, as he is a FB, but I've seen him do better and he looks a yard off the pace.

Plus no depth in squad yada yada yada.

PS KWP is not the answer comrades. Another fucking Tinkerbelle.
