I thought he had a good game, especially first half but his crossing wasn't good, I said at HT I thought he was doing well but needed to stop over-kicking his crosses and then right away he missed chance to pull back to Eriksen. However I don't think Trippier is a player who should be debated after todays game. There was plenty of players who had better performances (Kane, Hugo, Sissoko) and people who had worse performances (everybody else).

To be honest, my grandpa can do better, he used to catch crabs for a living so hes much much more of a master of the side and backpasses compare to Trippier

Everton/Wolves/Leicester level at best. And that's being nice, actually. All of those teams have significantly better fullbacks than Trippier.

Arsenal targeted him all game and often had two on him which clearly didn't help. He looks like he has lost confidence and therefore things just aren't coming off for him at the moment. I thought he was poor today, particularly in the second half when he had to defend more but not everyone can be the all action Danny Rose type.

The World Cup papered over the fact he is simply not good enough. Against anyone above bottom 1/2 opposition he plays backward or sideways passes all the time. Unfortunately Aurier is not any better.

I'd take Doherty from Wolves all day over Tripps as he currently is.

I was a big fan of Trippier when he was challenging Walker for a spot - another player ruined by England.

JUST GET THE FECKING BALL IN THE BOX!!!!

Hit the nail on the head mate ,I was about to post similar ,I was at the game and it was blatently obvious they were targeting him as our weak link and that's what he is, tbf he got stuck in early on as if he had a point to prove but soon faded and was rinsed a few times by iwobi.

Not to mention Pereira, who we for some reason chose not to go for....

Trippier was awful today, had so much space and never used it, never drove at Arsenal and his delivery if he ever did actually cross the ball was woeful. I don't think TV shows how truly bad he is tbh. Watching from the gods it was plain to see why the crowd got on his back, he's just a very limited footballer and Rose on the other side makes him look even worse

Yeah I was there also, he also wasn't helped by the ref as Iwobi was able to be really physical - wrestle and dominate (oooer) him which didn't help his confidence at all.
