If we do decide to replace him, who are we getting in that's better? He hasn't had a great couple of last years but he is best we are going to get.

Just be nice if more of these great saves he makes came from the opposition cutting us open with great play rather than Lloris having just given them the fkin ball ;)

Only said in jest. Kind of.

Has everyone forgotten the Man Utd game already?????? He was class in that. Stopped them equalising just before Moura made it 2-0. Stopped a certain goal after a Sanchez mistake on Wednesday too. We're lucky he didn't fuck off straight away during the AVB years. Quality keeper.

Yes, they did. In case you haven't noticed most on here are insanely reactionary.. Talking about how Lloris sucks now is such a joke.

If he makes another major howler that leads to a goal then I'll be a little concerned

To be fair its lucky any of us are here after the AVB years. 3 months I was in a coma after he bored me to tears!

Funny thread this, Clem was a brilliant keeper but lets not forget that Liverpool effectively binned him for Grobelaar. Hugo has undoubtedly been our best since, by a country mile, but in the last year or so he's had plenty of howlers for club and country.

We have to decide if we want to win the league or be a cosy club that does quite well.

I love Hugo but he's way past his best.

Best keeper I’ve ever seen was Pat Jennings and we binned him for Barry fucking Daines!

....and I saw Big Pat make a few mistakes too

Jennings was the best during my time, followed by Erik.

Clemence was still good but was already in decline when he came to us. His best years were at Anfield.

Dodgy patch. He'll ride it out.

Clean sheet will have helped.

Poch needs to give him license to just whack it away at times and not feel he must pass out.

Never been good with his feet; just give him freedom to get rid down a channel if he comes under intense pressure from forwards.

I am pretty sure his license has been taken away - for good cause.

His kicking has always been suspect, but its, his decision-making that has been spotty since the incident.

Would prefer him to belt it away than pass to any of the back 4 under intense pressure.

Too dicey.

Has had a lot on his mind lately to be fair. Win world cup, get done for drink driving, then get injured.
Then make horrific fk up in cl.
Just needs to keep it simple for a bit.

I always think that Friedel was criminally underrated by spurs fans, and it's conversations like these that confirm it. Shame his name doesn't come up more when we talk about our best keepers.

He was still shaky today and unsure of himself imo. Should have come out and collected in the first half on one particular occasion, but was rooted to his line.

Understandable after what happened in midweek, but it’s clear he’s not thinking clearly and his judgement is off at the moment.

Think sweeper keep has a ton of feel to it and probably takes a while to get back into the rhythm and timing of it all. He'll be fine with more time back with the team.
