I don't really understand why you're that taken back by my response. It wasn't an insult towards you, it's a fact that that person clearly is talking shit when the club have announced he hasn't travelled.

It was what I read and I passed it on. Why not just ignore it and move on.

If we are being honest - the continued injuries are becoming a problem for Winks. If we can't rely on him to be there every week, it tougher to build a midfield around him as a key part.

It is a little but this season him and Sissoko have not really had a rest between them, they've played a lot more games than any of us would have thought at the start of the season. If we had 1 or 2 more CMs we would probably see a bit more rotation allowing them longer time between games to recover and prevent needless injuries.

Fuck sake. Huge loss for the rest of the season, but if its necessary than no point delaying it. Come back stronger next season Harry.

Good better he get the surgery and rehab properly.
Otherwise you get what lamela had were the club didn't go for surgery and all the non surgery treatments didn't fully clear the pain

Anyone else find it interesting the club statement doesn't specify that he's out for the rest of the season? Maybe it was very minor surgery and may be back before the end.

Clutching at straws maybe.

Makes me a little bit sad that it's highly likely (with the exception of a miraculous Kane recovery in time for the second leg) that neither of out two truly home grown first team players will get to play in our biggest games in the last 50 years or so.

Hopefully it makes the rest of the squad more determined.

I remember when vardy had an operation on the Monday and played again the following Sunday. Although I’m pretty sure that Winksy won’t be doing the same.

What a shit season for injuries. Fucks sake.

It’s been a total shocker. It’s been so disruptive and we’ve just not got the depth to cope.

God knows what happens vs Ajax - let’s just hope we have enough for 3 points vs Bournemouth and regroup in the summer.

Some key players are injury prone though. We know that now and it needs to be addressed in the summer
