Kane yet to score a hat trick this season. He needs to step up against Cardiff he’s been off the pace at times

If he gets a hat-trick we should win. I am mildly pessimistic about today's match in spite of it being a new year!

Yeah but once they factor in assists and take out penalties, as is only right, Salah will be back on top.

I was shocked when he didn’t hit the target twice yesterday from very difficult angles/distances. He usually does which shows how good he is.

He’s been back playing to his usual level the last few weeks. Thankfully Poch listened to/trusted the player and didn’t rest him. Kane said he loves this time of the year as there’s so many games. To the outsider it may seems crazy to keep playing him all game every game but both the player and manager seem to think it’s the best so we should trust them.

I think it was last year that Harry mentioned he would like to up his assists and it seems he has, I think he has more already than he had all of last season.

Given the undoubted quality Aguero possesses I thought I'd do some reading on his Wikipedia.

Turns out Aguero has scored 153 Premier League goals since Aug 2011. Harry has scored 119 since Aug 2014 (and has 122 in total where he picked up a few goals from those sub appearances the season before). That is essentially one season's worth of goals difference between Kane & Aguero in three whole seasons of time. Insane numbers he's posting.

If he stays fit, he will beat Shearer's record.

N.B. He's due a hat-trick soon too.

Without a doubt great numbers by Harry, but Aguero has been injured a fair amount. Be interesting to see games played/goals scored.

True.

Aguero: 223 Games, 153 Goals: 0.69 per game
Kane: 171 Games, 122 Goals: 0.71 per game
You might find Aguero has more sub appearances. I think his goals per minute ratio is probably slightly better than HK's. This is me just guessing though so could be a load of balony

Kane Aguero Henry are the most profilic by quite a way. The only 3 over 0.60 Henry is 0.68. Shearer is next on 0.59 although obviously he had the longest career and numbers tend to tail off with age.
