He is being played out position, he has Lucas running into spaces he used to so therefore is dropping deeper and not even getting into the box. England did it with Sterling and now Poch is with Lucas. Kane's form is down to one thing, Poch, and he needs to change.

Kane has gotten there 8 years earlier eh ...

I'd say 4-5 years as it's been an issue with Rooney for years. As said, hope it's not a permanent thing for Kane, and that he can get back to what made him special. However, it's a common thing to see in strikers that can't do the running any more, they try to impact the game in other ways and tend to drop deep.

I have no idea if their is anything wrong with Kane (physically or mentally - I don't have the first clue) I just don't think he is playing where he should be or has the supply a top striker should be demanding (those are my onions on what I have seen this season)

I don't know neither, and I see your point. It's just that the Harry Kane we've had for four seasons prior to this wouldn't care about his position or lack of service, he'd just take the ball wherever he was, ran past players and smack the ball in from any range and angle.
This worry me.

Kane was bleak today. No charisma or attitude as a captain should have. Rarely involved in anything really
But I'm not too worried. Things change all the time in football. Let's hope he has a good time against Inter next game

feel as if it is mental fatigue to be honest....needs to feel it again....but form is temporary and class is permanent.

To save Kane and us this season and next he needs time off now. Give him the time off from today. Bite the bullet because if we do we will be better off for it in the future.
Looks sharper to me today. Seems like something in his mind bothering him. Worrying but also not worrying is because some other players are the same; Eriksen and Dier

Sharper. Today?

He looked like he had lead in his boots. He looked like Janssen!

Moura can be our Salah, just feel he's occupying the same spaces on the pitch that Kane does and it may take a bit of time for both parties to understand each other's movement. This will click sooner or later , hopefully sooner , add Sonny to the mix and we will be mustard.

Agree with this and he will always score goals. The issue is he was so much more than that and a big part of it was his physicality. He’s not naturally quick, but his ability to get way from defenders, his agility, his strength and tireless running was a huge part of making him the Uber striker he’s become over the last 3 or 4 years.

A perfect example was the Burnley away game last year where he put in a text book sliding tackle high up the pitch, jumped straight up, took the return pass past their last man and lashed it into the corner with his weaker foot. For the last 6 months he simply looks incapable of scoring a goal like that.

If he loses all that stuff then he just becomes a great finisher with a decent touch.

Kane Looks fit to me, he's just not getting any service and is closely marked. Salah isn't looking so great this year either

Really? He looks fit?

How about his work off the ball? It's nowhere near his previous levels.

Ok, I’m worried now. This is not the Kane that broke through, running channels, pulling defenders all over the shop. At the moment he’s playing like a 32-year-old target man. Just mooching around the pitch hoping for some balls into the box. There’s actually not much difference between the way he’s playing and Llorente.

I don’t know what’s going on - the ankle, general wear and tear, or a mental thing, but Poch has to grasp the nettle and take some action. He talked about the club being brave, but he may have to be too, and pull Kane out for a couple of weeks and get him right.

Good luck with Poch being 'brave'...

He was never the fastest, but he was a powerful runner - a bit like Gazza - people bouncing off him and opening up space. I just don’t get it. That ankle turn can’t have been that bad to utterly change his game. What’s he looking to protect by not sprinting and opening his legs?

Agree, like a totally different footballer for nearly a year now. More a pocher instead of the complete forward
