I wouldn't say there's an agenda per se but Zidane gave Kane some praise yesterday with no indication he was up to any mischief, yet they report it as Real Madrid wanting to buy him, when he didn't say anything of the sort.

That's not right is it, they shouldn't be allowed to just make stuff up?
They do that shit all the time and not just to us.

For clicks and revenue...they do it cause they know gullible fans will click on it. ;)

Here's an example......Tony Gale in commentary says something that can, with a massive amount of elasticity, be taken as anti-Spurs. It then gets reported on here and he's an agenda riddled cocknocker who talks shit.

Today, he was quite glowing in his appraisal of Spurs. Not one person (that i've seen) came on here and reported it or complained.

If something can be taken as a negative on here, it will be.

it seems to me that if you talk about Spurs and aren't glowing in praise or talk as if you have the full skinny on Spurs, you're a **** and it's agenda. There is no agenda, there are just pundits out there who we may not agree with or like what they have to say. Sometimes they say something negative, sometimes they are proper complimentary.

They don't all meet once a week, roll up one trouser leg, do a complicated handshake, toast the pixies of pixieville and get down to discussing how to next put Spurs down.

Jeez, I proper bit didn't I? :sneaky:

You missed off "written by professional Spurs haters John Cross and Matt Hughes". Neither have ever written anything good about us.
He winds me up whenever he's on the Sunday Supplement. They all call him 'Crossy' and he seems to talk rubbish 95% of the time.

It's not all the press, but both Matt Law and John Cross have a long history of constant negativity towards the club.
I'm sure it won't come as a shock to know they are both staunch Gooners.

I believe Matt Law is a Villa fan. Agree on Cross though!

I take this "report" with a handful of salt...but I wouldn't mind it to be true (Ronaldo's comments that is).

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo made Harry Kane feelings known after Tottenham draw
CRISTIANO RONALDO reportedly thinks Real Madrid would be wrong to pursue a move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane

Real Madrid’s hopes of finishing top of their Champions League group were dealt a major blow last night.

Kane played a key role in Tottenham's only goal of the game as Spurs emerged from the Bernabeu with a credible point to their name.

The England international is being heavily tipped to join Real Madrid at the end of the season, with Los Blancos supposedly mulling over a sensational move.

And Spanish website Diario Gol says Cristiano Ronaldo made his feelings on the 24-year-old clear at the end of the game.

It is alleged that the 32-year-old thinks Kane would be an unnecessary purchase.

Despite Kane producing a fine centre-forward display, Ronaldo deems the Tottenham hitman not good enough to ply his trade over in Spanish capital.

Additionally, Diario Gol say his views are down to a liking of Karim Benzema.

Probably worried about being overshadowed by him.

As much as I hope this is right, I have to admit I have no idea what Ronaldo, or anyone at Real for that matter, sees in Benzema. In my opinion the most overrated footballer in the world right now. I never see him have a really, really good game.

I guess it's because he shuts up and passes to Ronaldo at every opportunity like a good little boy.

Could this man be any more perfect? Actively shuts down any speculation about himself, every time.

'I'd love to be a one-club man' - Kane speaks out after Real Madrid links
23:13
Tottenham star Harry Kane has redoubled his commitment to the club after a week where he came under the eye of Real Madrid.

Kane, 24, has been at White Hart Lane since his trainee days, and in the past few seasons the striker has become one of the most prolific frontmen in European football.

A string of impressive campaigns have not gone unnoticed, with none other than Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane labelling him a 'complete striker" prior to the two sides' meeting in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Kane has long been linked with following Luka Modric and Gareth Bale in swapping north London for the Spanish capital, but on Friday he appeared to pour cold water on transfer reports by affirming he wants to stay with Spurs.

“I’d love to be a one-club man," the England international explained to reporters ahead of this weekend's clash with Liverpool.

“It depends on how the club goes forward and managers et cetera, but I’ve said I want to stay here, as we’re in a great place at the moment.

"The training centre is amazing, the new stadium is coming, the manager is fantastic and we’ve got a young team. So it’s great.”

Kane is not the only player in the Spurs ranks to attract attention from overseas, with Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen reportedly targets for Madrid's great rivals Barcelona.

But the striker insists that all three are not interested in leaving Tottenham, and that all want to achieve big things.

“Should fans be worried? No, I don’t think so. We’re all very happy here and have signed long-term contracts," he added.

“Rumours can be compliments as it shows we’re doing good as a team but we don’t take any notice of them, we’ve got a job to do here.”

Fantastic news, but it probably won't stop all the rumours or the pundits talking.

Apparently Benzema signed a contract extension last month as well so Real clearly aren't getting rid of him just yet.
