Biggest thing for Harry this season is making sure he’s positioned front and centre. Moura should never be ahead of him, forcing Harry deep or wide.
That might be Moura’s best position (doubts) but it doesn’t benefit the team and our best player.
Kane has to play CF.
No coincidence, when he’s scoring goals and lots of them, our league position positively correlates.

Harry looks stronger and sharper than he has for two years.

In the first half, he took a shot from the left side of the box, it went just over, but how early he took it and the pace it had, showed confidence.

Both goals on Saturday were good finishes, he made them look easy.

It’s the best he’s ever started a season, plus opening his account at the New Lane....I love Harry!!

Troy Parrott will play 3 or 4 games at most. Don't kid yourself into believing he will have any impact on the team this season.

Kane's second finish, viewed from the angle behind him (where you can clearly see his body position and path of the ball) is absolutely phenomenal. It'll never win any goal of the week awards, etc, but it's such a sublime finish.

I could watch an endless loop for a good two to three seven million minutes.

Agreed, he made it look so easy but it was an absolute peach of a finish. Vintage Harry. The second it went in, I said to myself, "he's back"

Yup. Most goals from outside the box have an element of luck - that was so incredibly deliberate and well measured

Lucky Parrott didn’t come on for Harry in the last 10mins against Villa.
Surely if we are able to go two or three up in games it makes sense to take Kane off and give Parrott minutes? Kane is looking fresh now, but it's a long old season and we'd do well to conserve him as much as we can.

It is great to see vintage Harry. Even his first had a level of class to it. He dinked it, under all that pressure, it was a subtle touch.

At 50yo, it is ok to have a hero still? Cos Sir Harry is mine.

I'm not sure taking Kane off 5 mins from the end will do much for his fitness, the biggest problem for him was the preparation in pre season and the lack of rest in the summer. Obviously he needs to be managed throughout the season but limiting him mins at the end of the match doesn't do much IMO, Messi and Ronaldo play 90 mins week in week out, they're elite athletes and I don't see any difference with Kane.

Also if he cuts out the stupid lunging challenges that seems to do his ankle in over and over.

Last season's was from a sliding tackle he didn't need to make, but what are the other examples? I remember the ones against Millwall and Bournemouth were from trying to get to the ball before goalkeepers (i.e. attempting to score). In fact, the Bournemouth one should have seen the 'keeper (Begović?) sent off iirc.

It was a gorgeous touch. Perfect accuracy and strike. Like something off an F2 vid.

I remember this being sung regularly in his first full season. The "One of our own" song only started around the beginning of the Leicester City season (maybe the season before - mind's a blur).

He was never getting to the ball before the keeper, its clear their is a weakness in that ankle and he needs to protect it or i could be come a chronic injury. In genral he heeds to stay on his feet more as he cant slide tackle for soup.
