Mad when you think that this time last year the WC finished and the Prem started literally a month later, Kane and co only had 3 weeks off then trained for something like 5 days before the season kicked off.

There is something pretty exciting in seeing all our key players refreshed and participating in preseason.

The official twitter put out a pic of (I think) Kane, Son, Jan, Ndombele, Dele, Toby and Sissoko running. That is quite the collection of talent!

Last preseason was an absolute cluster and IMO set the tone for the whole season. I'm excited to see what a refreshed squad (hopefully with a couple of quality additions) can achieve!

Those couple of kilos will be the difference between 30 in all competitions and 45 in all competitions

Add to that we'll be playing our home games actually at home all season not fkin Wembley. Massive difference.
Can't overstate what a massive achievement finishing top 4 twice was while playing at Wembley.
How many of the other big teams could have done so I wonder.

Ah mate he is a legend ain’t he! He could well go into this season in perfect condition. He has had a nice break with his family, his youngest possibly won’t be waking through the night and giving him disturbed sleep and he has a full pre season with Poch and the team.

And yet we still finished top 4 and CL finalists. Very excited about the new season ... is it August yet?

Last pre season couldn’t have been that bad. We took part in the International Champions Cup and won it. Not sure many people know that but it did happen. We then went on to win our first 3 league games. Third one was 3-0 at Old Trafford.

Pre seasons not about results or the first three games, it's about building a level of fitness and conditioning that lasts throughout the season. We didn't pay for it at Old Trafford, we paid for it throughout the second half of the season when we gave away more points than a Tesco's clubcard.

It’s so sweet Eriksen scooted over and made room for Son to sit down as well... :’-)

We've had to put up with some crap from Szczesny whilst he was at the Arse, so it makes the goal even sweeter.
