Is it just me or is some of that passing is reminiscent of a certain Glenn Hoddle ?

A bit, as in some of the long passing and the fact that Harry can break the lines with passes too and create.

I actually think we need players with more incisiveness to their passing in midfield, one of the reasons why I'd be a fan of a player like Andres Gomes coming in who has a wand of a right peg.

Harry needs players other than himself getting the wide men in on the counter more and breaking the lines with passes IMO.

Couple of questions....

I haven’t seen the highlights but did he dive when he got booked? Was difficult to tell from where I was sitting at the game.

Also, does anyone know how many goals Kane scored in 2018 for club and country? I tried googling but the sites I found didn’t have purely 2018 stats. Was wondering this because Messi and Ronaldo scored 51 and 49 respectively and wondered how close Kane was to that. Ta.

Cheers for that. Does that include England? I assume it does but I’m sure he got a hatrick for us and England this year yet in that it only says one hatrick. Maybe he didn’t get any for us.

Yes it must include England as he hasn’t scored a hat trick for us since Boxing Day 2017 against Southampton.

99 League goals behind Greaves now.

109 away in all competitions.

Still a while off but Harry really is the stuff of dreams, chipping away at records that just a few years ago felt unreachable.

Love him so much.

That ref was a right nasty git for booking Harry for diving the same day he got an OBE. Must keep an eye out for him to see how he treats other players in future.

Very strange reffing. He seemed determined not to give any penalties or handballs but dished out a yellow card that could easily have been given as a free kick.

100% free kick and 100% penalty IMO. Shearer and his "he could have carried on without going over" comment can **** off, he used to throw himself over at most opportunities and he was fouling every one all the time too.

Yet when Salah did it he “had every right to go over”

Salah getting away with horrific cheating is a great example of either Liverpool being the media darlings and/or the media being terrified of calling him a cheat because he's doing so much for Egypt/Africa.

He fucking cheated. No sour grapes. He threw himself on the floor in a digraceful way with the tiniest of touches.
Then Milner does the same a few days later and the bafoon manager says "we don't have divers in our squad"

I bet their mug fans still don't think ours was a penalty last season or that we 100% should have had another in injury time at Wembley either!

Please don't say that, he's just a footballer. It's a bit of an ignorant comment. It's because he's the media darling and plays for Liverpool.

Kane yet to score a hat trick this season. He needs to step up against Cardiff he’s been off the pace at times
