He's exactly what Sissoko should have been. Direct, taking on his man and not overdoing it. He had one poor pass that I believe was underhit (intercepted by Tawmyyyy Boy), but he was just so lively and I really felt like he gave us another threat in attack that was obviously put in play to exploit the RB position given Naughton's injury.

I said it before and i'll say it again. I think he can be transformed into an effective wingback.

I wouldn't say that pass was poor as such, Tommy just read and intercepted it well (Poch training still lingering in him:D) but other than that I was thoroughly impressed with his performance tonight.

How the hell Sissoko gets the nod before him from now on is beyond me. Sissoko is just going through the paces, he knows Poch will pick him. GKN puts in real effort and you can see he wants to fight to be in the squad.

He was the first player celebrating in front of our fans with Eriksen after his goal, and that shows he has the passion for the team and the fans alike.

He has that young energy and optimism about him, and that is something we need to take advantage of.

With a bit more confidence and game time I really think this lad will kick on for us.

Yeah you can't question his drive in the few performances he has had. There was one Europa game where I thought he was a passenger, but for me he has offered more than Sissoko has.

Almost every time I've seen him he's looked decent at the very least. The one exception being the league cup game against Liverpool early in the season (but then the entire team were crap in that game). It is utterly bemusing to me that he's not been given more minutes, particularly considering some of those who've been picked ahead of him.

Can only think there's been some sort of personality clash between him and Poch on the training field (though that seems surprising given Nkoudou has come across to me a fairly decent and hard working fellow in moments I've seen via social media and otherwise).

Only other option I can imagine is that Poch has been using him to make a point to the board, Mourinho style, freezing out a player who ultimately was not choice. Doesn't feel like Poch's style but makes as much sense to me as anything in the context. Nkoudou is a good player so far hard done by at this club imo.

Reall good play for our 3rd goal. GKN is pinned back in our box, he turns and plays a long ball to janssen who controls and plays Alli in, meanwhile GKN has made a run from our end and is already in the opposition half surging down the left, he takes a man with him which helps with allowing Alli to play Eriksen in and voila!

Really hope he gets more chances. Not sure why he's been overlooked. I know poch is after Zaha/Mane archetype player not sure why he doesnt trust GKN when he has all the tools to be just as effective.

He's hardly let us down in whatever few minutes that he has played since joining us. I really can't see how Sissoko is picked ahead of him. I hope that, moving forward, he'll be picked ahead of Sissoko in any upcoming matches.

Probably trains harder, takes instruction better. More disciplined

Poch is no mug

Some people refer to him as the 'new n'jie', but I've always felt that he has a lot more to offer than N'jie. N'jie seems to be pretty much all about raw pace, whereas Nkoudou seems to have a lto more class on the ball and far better control.

He really stretched Swansea's back 4 yesterday by giving an option out wide, which I felt played no small part in the goals we scored.

He probably doesn't train well. Need to show in practice if you want to play in the games...

Highly doubt that as Poch wouldn't put him on the bench if he wasn't up to scratch in training, and the way he plays within our team shows he has learnt our system and is fully capable of fulfilling his role. His energy is undeniable, so I really think its down to a matter of saving face for the price we paid for Sissoko than anything to do with his attitude, work rate or ability.

That was such a good piece of play - really hemmed in and forced to play the ball infield from inside his own box. That ball only needed to be slightly out and it would have been a really dangerous turnover. Not sure what other options he had but at the time it seemed to border on both lunacy and genius at the same time.

erm, Poch pretty much doesn't put him on the bench unless/until forced to by injuries. He's mostly been below Sissoko, Janssen and Onomah in the pecking order for midfield/attack bench places.

Yeah because what's more important...Poch putting out his perceived strongest 11 at an absolutely crucial point of the season, or 'saving face' ?
Laughable suggestion imo.
