Best performance he’s put in for us, bar none.

His finishing was awful and yet us playing to his strength (for the first time ever) pays dividends.

Superb 45 minutes from the big guy, and I love his attitude.

What a performance. Being a striker isn't just about scoring goals. Provided an outlet and won almost all his battles and most knock-downs were to a teammate.

Hold up play of the highest order.

Id much rather we did that sometimes rather than the playing it around the back with the defenders backs to the opposition goal.

I see Liverpool, City, Ajax and Barca all go long and direct and build from an advanced position.

I just don't get the fascination with playing it short all the time.

If Kane makes it I hope he can do a similar role and that Poch mixes it up a bit by using this tactic. I understand that we want to play short but i think we just overdo it sometimes.

Crucial crucial player for us this season. He’s been a brilliant professional, you can see his passion and effort too even when he’s missed chances he just gets back up and wins the next ball. Criticized a lot by all of us at times, but his impact this season has been immense

It’s very confusing we don’t play to his strengths more like we did last night.

Got to give credit to the big man when Moura scored the winner goal. Takes down the ball serving it to Dele. He rarely score but his height and toughness in those duels is crucial

He must've won about 10 aerial duels in a row at some point and almost every single one fell onto the boot of one of our attackers. De Ligt and Blind looked like school children against him. Immense performance.

Oh look, play an experienced 6'4'' centre forward as a proper target man, and what happens? Space, second balls, and carnage. Great, warriors display from him last night.

The key to it was that he could do something with the balls he was receiving. Quite a few were at chest height and he's so powerful that they couldn't get near him. Moura and Dele were also feeding off him. At last we've played to his strengths.

He’s been hugely important for us this season. Last night’s performance and the tie winning goal against Man City were vital contributions to what has become an era defining run for us to the Champions League final. Like Moura, the part he has played in getting us to the final proves what a shrewd bit of business he was even if he hasn’t always dazzled for us. He also seems like a great pro and a very good influence to have around the squad, especially with his experience. To think, he could have gone to Chelsea!

If we can continue to play to his strengths, I'd like to see him get a new contract. He's definitely a very effective sub option. His aerial prowess gives our attack a new dimension.
