You don't need to resort to abusive foul mouthed language! I don't need to vindicate myself. I know who knows what I said before anything came out, so simply continue to be ignorant and full of virile abuse.

Why isn't you're info getting put in the RO?

Do you know what virile means?

I don't understand what he means when he says the result was the same. The same as what?
That nothing's showing up on the scan and therefore it is all mental?

Means as I motioned before, problem is more in his head.

Oh fuck off. This ITK persona you've taken on over the last few months is getting boring now. We all know you're full of shit.

No-one can diagnose pain to be a "mental" problem per say, but doctors may suggest that when there's no evidence of a physical problem. The problem for a medical team is whether there's a reason or not for the discomfort someone feels, if they can't detect a problem (doesn't mean there isn't one), they can't necessarily give the best advice/treatment for it.

So, for Lamela specifically, I'd agree with @Hercules' take on the matter - that it sounds to me like Lamela's out and has been complaining of a hip complaint and from the manner in which Pochettino has reported it to the media, fresh scans haven't shown a problem. I've heard Eric Lamela requested a second opinion back in Rome where he has a physician he trusts and Pochettino seems to be saying (IMO) that repeat scans have not identified a problem... so in a media savvy way "he has to just get on with it and push through".

You have to feel for anyone who experiences pain without an obvious cause/treatment being identified - but remember our diagnostic ability is clearly limited by technology available to us and emerging research, but ultimately if nothing can be done for Lamela, he has to try and get on with it. I hope he does.

In my opinion... [which I'd like respected, but happy to be questioned, rather than abused for it].

I don't have any problem with his opinion. I take issue with his ITK bollocks, which is him basically saying it's not an opinion it's fact when in fact he's as clueless as the rest of us mugs

On your point, I'd say it's very unlikely anyone would know any specifics regarding Lamela's results, as this is confidential info.

I don't know about the ITK stuff, perhaps Admin people should decide

It is interesting to observe that on this particular thread you dear not give an honest opinion or insight that is not the flavour of some. For the record once again, I like Lamela and want him to stay, even if I have my doubts. It does not mean that I like everything about him. However, who is perfect? The kid has bags of talent, that I do not personally believe he has realised (yet).

I will not stop giving my opinions, especially when they go against the grain and people like bc205, Eric s, swarvsta, and others choose to spam/neg, or similar. I respect those who if they do not agree and press the 'disagree' will question my reasons.
No response is needed as I am not seeking a debate.

Well this thread took a turn for the weird and antsy. Let it go friends. Let's get back on topic.

I feel very bad for Lamela. He must be so frustrated. I hope they figure it out soon. He has developed so much over the last 18 months. And i felt in the first two months of the season he was one of our most consistent and committed players. We miss him. And it'll be lovely to have him back.

As I said before, I don't really care about your opinion. It's your insistence that you have some inside info into it all that I take issue with. I also find this post a bit rich considering you suggested another poster keeps his mouth shut as he didn't know everything.

The mods know what I said, and what I won't post on here. Regarding another poster to 'keep their mouth shut' . It was against what they said in regards to what I said with affirmative words. I do not have to really justify every comment. My view when other posters, aside from the ones like Grey Fox, and others, give what seems more than an opinion I assume they have their private reasons why they are so firm in what they say, I respect them and move on without disclaiming what they are saying.

And for the record, I do know more in certain subjects without letting on, and the boss and couple others know that.

That nothing's showing up on the scan and therefore it is all mental?

A comparison.....

I've suffered from kidney stones for many years. I've had various procedures in the past to get rid of them, but they have returned many times.

However, for the past 4 years, I've suffered periods of excruciating pain from the same areas, and yet every scan I've had, from x-ray through CT and even MRI have shown no further stones in any way causing a problem. Nothing.

But still the pain appears, along with other symptoms of kidney stones.

Why?

Mental?....possibly. I've drunk some heavy stuff over the years that may have affected me. But it just shows the body is an odd thing and can give out signals to the brain that actually, don't necessarily mean anything is wrong.

Just a thought to throw out there into the argument.
