I get that you're trying to play it off as if completely embarrassing yourself in this thread is nothing, but this post probably adds more of value than every one of your moronic, unsubstantiated posts on the last few pages combined. Progress.

Look I’ve been a member on here for circa 10 years. I come on here like a lot of other people to discuss both football and other matters. It’s a forum were people express their views. I do not however come on here to be abused because you don’t agree with my opinion. Grow up ffs.

Are you not miserable and/or very hungover your first day back to work from vacation?

I’m incredibly stressed and have an awful lot on my mind. I’ve serious health issues, my dad’s cancer looks like it’s returned, my sister has an abusive partner, my fiancée is on long term sick, I’m facing redundancy and I’m currently the sole household income (mortgage, bills the lot). Like I said in another post, I come on here to express my view... I don’t come on here to be abused. Ps not aimed at you :).

It's not abuse. It's an assessment based on the evidence provided. In fact I'd say your snide comment about PMS was where the 'abuse' started. Asking for evidence to back up an unsubstantiated opinion is not abuse. I don't know why you would expect to post without evidence and then not expect it to be challenged.

EDIT: Seriously, I'm staggered by this. I didn't 'abuse you' because I don't agree with your opinion, and I honestly have no idea how you could come to that conclusion after reading the exchange between the two of us. I challenged your opinion because you provided absolutely nothing to support it, and then when I asked you for evidence, and indeed, provided my own that contradicted your opinion you got snarky and now defensive. I just don't understand why you think your opinions can't be challenged, or why you would expect to just come in here and post what were effectively pejorative character assessments about our players without being called out for it.

Wasnt trying to be abusive. I’m sorry for all you’re going through. Nobody deserves to be going through that. We’re here if you need people to talk to/vent to. Hope it all turns out okay. Praying for you, mate.

I’m not saying every needs to be a goody 2 shoes on the pitch. Look at the return to training pics, Moura, Winks, KW-Peters... big smiles on their faces. Dier - looked beyond miserable. As a team for the last few months of the season a lot of the players looked disinterested and that was evidenced by our diabolical form and poor end of season points total, what was it? 12 defeats in total. Yes we had injuries etc but Eriksen was already on the plane to Madrid and Alli was poor.

I cannot tell if you are trolling or not. “Disinterested”?
Absolute rubbish. Seriously. You could not even get close to proving the first letter of that.
The smiling bullshit; look carefully and there were photos of Eric Dier smiling, just for you. As for “piled on the weight”? Nonsense.

Your observations on Dele being “arrogant” are Trumpian. You are judging him simply by appearance, for me unforgivable. As a player he has played deeper for us and England for much of the previous season, putting in shift after shift and getting hammered by people who don’t understand, he has played with injuries and he has behaved like a model pro, even managing to keep his temper in check. Did you hate Berbatov? Keane? The best sometimes come with that swagger. Thankfully.

Mate.

Really sorry to read this.

Reminder to me that often, there are many things going on behind the internet veil.

Regardless of agreeing or disagreeing (I heartily disagree with you!) I apologise if I have caused any offence and hope life evens out somehow. Much of what you’ve described had knocked/knocks on mine and others doors, l will speak for myself and say hang in day by day mate and the light will re-appear...

...if you need to immediately take your mind off things, vigorously spin around four times and then look at a large photo of out horrendous new training tshirt. You will feel like shit but at least all will be forgotten momentarily!!!!!

Good luck and again, apologies if I over-stepped a mark.

The underrating of Dier around here astounds me. He has certain limitations but if he were as poor as some people seem to suggest, there’s no way we have our three best Premier League seasons (based on final league position) with him him starting all but 11 matches during that period (so, starting 90% of our League games).

I’d go as far as to suggest that his lack of form and fitness last season is part of the reason why we ended up fourth after three years in the top three.

Reading some of the comments on here you’d think he was Gary Doherty.
Been saying it all Summer and everyone is going to be shocked when he's back in the starting line up week in & week out. Poch seems to absolutely love him. His ability to switch between CB & DM during a game helps our team so much. When he drops in between the CBs it allows our fullbacks to push high and still have enough defensive cover.

IMO Diers offensive game is underrated as well. He had some really nice assists in the 17/18 season against Everton and Chelsea. If he's able to recover fully from this injury he'll be back to his best this season. Even in limited action last year he scored 3 goals.

Also Deli was meant to come down for a shoot at my work last September but Deli got injured, the guys from the Uni lad doing the Call of Duty ad said he is a nice lad and no hassle, his brother makes silly demands but Deli is as good as gold.

It is a funny one, because he's not as agile as Winks he's depicted as some cumbersome oaf that runs around shitting his pants and falling over himself. He's actually a really good player, imo - and a super valuable squad member. Some people just outright don't like him, but I don't get why.

Because they’ve short memories.

As a pure defensive midfielder he’s been a good player for us. It’s when Poch has asked him to do more with the ball in midfield that he’s been wanting. Personally I think that’s fair enough, he’s a defensive player and not a forward thinking midfielder.

Ask him to sit in front of a back four, break up play and supply the ball to more attack minded players or fullbacks to push forward and he’ll do a solid job of it. If we play him like that then we play to his strengths, ask him to do more and he’s found wanting. It depends on how Poch decides we are to play next season as to how much he’s involved I suspect.

Just looked back he’s actually had two mystery illnesses before too one turned out to be something abdominal before his appendix went.

Looks like he does have a pretty rubbish immune system....or maybe something there underlying like ibs or something

I mean we're completely speculating here but now you've said that you've got me thinking it could be something like Crohn's disease...

No I know we are speculating but he’s lost loads of weight on top of it,

Could be nothing in it but for an athlete with top level health care to get ill like this quite often I wonder if there is something else
